Description
A simple cache placed near the golf course and creek
This is a traditional cache placed near the Box Hill Golf Course. Personally I think its a good walk ruined - much as the rain ruined my walk tonight whilst placing the cache - I got soaked from the waist down... Parking available in the side streets - not on Station Street - or on ya bike - it's a good ride along Gardiners Creek through the various parks on the cycle trails. USE STEALTH! This cache is in a very exposed location but with the creek here you can pretend you're looking at it without any problem (let your fingers do the searching!) Enjoy!

I'm with you, good way to ruin a walk.
Unlike this cache.
Waited for the ladies to play on through as I surveyed the water hazard.
Eyes closed, cache in hand.
Over a year since the good Doctor gave this one a check up.
All in good order, waiting patiently for the next finder...
Thanks for the cache quiet1_au

First log of 2018.
At the start of a dog walk/maintenance run around Gardiner’s Reserve, with a hunt for a couple of newish GC caches thrown in. This GCA has been on my to do list for quite a while. I had in my head that it was on the other side of the road, but only this morning realised my error! With dog in tow the container was soon found. No magnets of any flavour found, but then none were needed in its snug hidey hole.
Thanks for keeping this one going quiet1_au!
Beautiful winter’s morning, great for caching and park running it turns out - quite a mob across the road!

We are currently touring Victoria with our geovan in tow, using geocaching as a guide. We have visited many amazing locations through geocaching and your cache - Box Hill Golf Club - was one we found along the way.
Many thanks Quiet1_Au for publishing this cache for our enjoyment and adding to our geocaching experience. Made a quick find at GZ - cache and contents were in good condition.

I finished up with a patient remarkably early and, though I was a distance away in Oakleigh, this cache beckoned. I grew up near-enough to hear so I'm quite familiar with this stretch of road, though I've never stopped here. I parked in a nearby street, hoping to be able to access the cache from the other side of the waterway and it was much easier than I thought. A simple waiting for traffic to clear before a duck and weave and I came up with the goods. A quick signature and I was on my way. TFTC quiet1_au

I had finished an appointment nearby way earlier than expected, so decided a few GCA caches were in order.
returning to the scene of a previous dnf. no problem with the find this time.
Cheers.

An easy find by Lady caughtatwork while I was looking just a little way away. We lucked onto parking a little up the street and so this was nice stroll down to the location and then back up the hill to the car.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks quiet1_au for both the caches and for participating in the game.

With a few hours to myself I thought one of them would be well spent finding these new caches not too far from home. Quickly find this in the exact spot I looked last time.
Thanks quiet1_au for the cache.

After dropping my son at uni in Box Hill this morning I had a few hours of sunny weather before I needed to be back home. I was heading to Wattle Park but detoured to find this cache on the way. It was a quick find between passing muggle traffic as the creek was not very scenic at this point.

Found at 12.45am while chasing some Geosportz goals. The garish yellow creek may turn some away from Synchronised Swimming, but it looked good to me! Great to see so many new caches at this time. Thanks quiet1_au, for your thoughtful contributions.
This was the second one on our list and we enjoyed the walk to GZ. We wondered what made the creek so yellow? The hint enabled us to make a quick find. The magnet holding the container is very strong.
We were surprised to find a blank log book so will claim {FTF} at 12.10.
Thanks Quiet1_AU for the cache and FTF.

Well, that must be one of the shortest-lived caches ever - I bet the puny magnet didn't even last the night...
Replaced with a proper rare-earth hard-drive magnet and plastic container.

Spent a while searching here but no cache. If our really is a 1/1 there is only one spot for it here.
