Description
A father's day surprise hidden in a family favourite location.
This geocache is located in a lovely setting where forrest meets beach. Many families love to line the beach during summer and enjoy what is on offer. We set this as a father's day surprise as it's a place we have enjoyed bringing our jet ski to and hitting the water. You will not need to go onto the beach to find this one, you will need to look for a small path leading you elsewhere. It is not a hard find but you will need to keep an eye out for wildlife (snakes) in summer. There is easy parking and you can even find toilet there!

When we arrived in the parking area there were two cars parked. Fortunately they were empty and their owners nowhere in sight. We made a quick dash to look for this cache. Accurate coordinates enabled us to spot the cache container but it took a few minutes to prise it out of the mud that had set hard. The inside of the container was wet and muddy and the soaking wet log book was cemented to the walls of the inside of the container. We left a small replacement log in a sealed bag. Hopefully this will be usable until the CO can make a cache check.

We decided to get away for an overnight road trip and Busselton was the place that we headed for. We meandered along our planned route picking up both GC and GCA caches as well as Waymarks and Sighters. We were having a blast tripping around this wonderful part of the State. This cache was one we grabbed on our travels. Cheers and TFTC.

Parked just a few metres from gz. Very quiet on the beach today with a lovely breeze blowing. Quick find. Thanks ADFI
