Description
Halloween 2016! Time to get some spooky themed caches out there. These are moveables so have fun, spread the fun around this October.
I advise bringing a backpack or something for this one, don't want to get caught with something spooky related and scare someone!
Enjoy!

Picked up with a bunch of other movables. Great case, won't come in handy but will come in footy

At the end of the event this was one of the moveables I ended up with. Next it to find a place to hide it for the next finder. As the game ends they may be further apart between finds. Thanks for the moveable which was one of 101 that made their way to Ebenezer. Good luck on any further moves

For each qualifying geocache that you hide or find during the game period you will be offered the opportunity to click on a ground tile and reveal what lies beneath.
A moving cache, by nature, may have been moved since you last determined its location. It may have been picked up but not yet rehidden so it's considered 'in-transit'. There is no foolproof method of determining where a cache is simply by the log types that have been placed against the cache.

Headed up to Ebenezer with LuckyL10n to attend the Aussie Day event. 45 degree day made for a bit of a fun trip, however it was pleasant in the winery building. A good few hardy souls were in attendance as well as over 100 moveables. Some good conversation with cachers not met before and a good couple of hours was had by all. The trip home was a little different to what was expected but turned out ok....
Thanks to all the CO's for the caches...

Attended the 'Australia Day Moveable Event 2018' and came face to face with other like minded cachers, one being another lucky (luckyl10n) and 101 moveables in the area. Many thanks to the CO's who have published them over time and others who bought them together for the event.

Called into Tizzana Winery to buy some wine and saw the moveables and the list. The family wanted to continue on so said "Hi" to a few we'd previously met then headed on with some wine. Diolch for the moveable. I didn't pick up any.

After a failed mission to join the crew doing the ‘BLACK OPs - Carpe Noctem’ (GC32WN6) cache this weekend due to being unable to get time off work (on Friday and Saturday) and other commitments arising, I did however sweet talk my way into having Sunday off. This then lead me to take a look around and see what was available within my free day to make it a day out. After taking a look around the GC and GCA caches, I found 2 events on the same day close to each other and I decided on attending them both. After this I took a look at what caches I could find along the way and made my trail to make it an enjoyable day out. Something I didn’t expect was, a FTF which was on cache GA13305. This added to the fun. I would like to thank all the CO’s of the caches I found and for the fun and enjoyment I had while finding them.

I spent the morning in the company of some incedible cachers from Canberra and Temora at an Event organised by Sol de Lune to enlighten us on the new GCA Game. I for one understand the game better now so thanks to SDL and Black Bunny for enlightening us. The weather was hot and sunny so at times chairs were moved around to stay in the shade. Masses of Movables appeared and were eagerly found but not moved by all present.

A quick pickup of moveables today for a secret meeting to take place in just a little while. Your geocache would like to join the secret activities so it may not move for a little while but it will be safe and sound and will be moved along (and hopefully logged quite a bit) in the not too distant future.

Periodically the Geocaching Australia review team checks moveable caches that haven’t been found or moved in over 90 days.
This moveable fits that brief, however reading previous logs it has been removed from the current co-ords and will soon be relocated.

Hi, just letting you know I still have your moveable, I was just letting the dinos have their turn here in SA, will have this back out as soon as possible for you.
This moveable and a few others were relocated from interstate to a reserve not too far away. It was therefore essential to grab the dog and the geo kids and to go on a gnome hunting adventure. The race was on between the 13 year old and the 10 year old on who could find the GCAs first, anything we can do to keep them interested. I think the 10 year old won in the end as the eldest gave up.
I will look after your GCA for a short period, then get it back into action for other SA GCA cachers to find.
Thanks for creating this cache for us to find, move and enjoy!

Footloose is again footloose and fancy free and ready to take a look around South Australia.
While collecting some moveables on the Domain in Hobart in early July we found a black bag containing 7 moveables that had been on the eastern shore. The bag was behind a log where one of the moveables we were looking for had been hidden. As we were unsure about how they got there we took them with us. Forgot they were in the back of the boot until we removed everything to put a large article in.
As we are in Adelaide we decided to drop them off for the locals to find.

I went to hide some new moveables in a well used hidey hole and found a foot. Glad to see it has been rebooted! Will move on soon. TFTM

Hint: it is located under a rock, behing rocks.
This moveable seems to have been found and removed in February 2018, however to date it has not been relocated.
As this is now over 3 months ago, the chances of the cache being relocated may be minimal. The previous finder was contacted regarding the relocating of the cache, however no action has since been taken. As a result, and to keep the Geocaching Australia database clean and up to date, we are archiving the cache.
If the cache owner can confirm that the cache has be relocated, they can post an unarchive log and the cache will be back in the game.

Footloose was misbehaving somewhat, kicking the other moveable caches in our car around, so we decided there was nothing for it but to give him the boot!
Got it while in the area finding other caches.it can travel with us briefly and help kick the other moveable out of the car! Then again, we know someone missing one of these, so perhaps we should pass it to them!! Only joking - would not want to upset the cache gods!

Dropped Off while on the way back to town
There was a commotion at the door and we found fifteen moveables looking for a bed for the night. Not sure they will think it was a luxurious resort after fighting for space in a couple of boxes on the couch that they had to share with the another guest, our son's dog! After a busy night for the host the fifteen moveables were provided with a luxurious breakfast (apart from the instant coffee). Now Footloose is ready to hit the road again. Thanks Shaydex for the fun moveable.
Sorry about the lengthy logs. We are currently aiming for a dragon zone virtual verbosity trophy. We have just received the 100 word trophy, so now aiming for the 150 word trophy. For all new GCA cachers, a warning, write a decent log to start with in case you want to get these virtual trophies down the track. Having now passed 2000 GCA finds with a lot of one word logs (on many moveables) makes for a lot of typing now!
We are participating in the States of the Nation games which are currently running from 16 December 2017 until 21 January 2018 and we will try and use this find against one of the scavenges.
States of the Nation is a real and virtual geocaching scavenger hunt where your home state will compete against other Australian states to find and hide geocaches. Over the 5 week course of the game there will be hundreds of scavenges that you can track down, find and convert into points for your state. Some scavenges will be easy. Some scavenges will be tough. Some scavenges may be impossible. Don't despair. You are not competing just for yourself; you are competing as a state.
There will be a number of scavenges released on a weekly basis but each scavenge will remain until the end of the game. This means even if you decide to join the game part way through, the early scavenges are still available for you to claim. Scavenges will require you to find a geocache, hide a geocache, attend an event or do something else completely different. The game focuses on all aspects of geocaching and so all cache types, sizes, terrain and difficulty will be up for scavenging. TrigPoints, Events, History, Virtual, Webcam, Podcache and Locationless geocaches are all scavengable, so you're not just looking for a box under a bush. Each week there will be a mix of physical, non-physical and locationless geocaches so even if you are not in a geocache rich area, use the locationless component of scavenger series to get out, find something to log and gain points for your state. If you watch the scavenges as they are released you might also spot the 'not so hidden' patterns and plan for future weeks of the series.
Hiding geocaches will also be a large part of the scavenger series, but please remember this is a game of geocaching and geocaches that you hide should be long lasting, be of good quality and you should be proud of what you hide. Please avoid hiding a geocache just for the day so your state can find it before you archive it. Geocaches that exist for a short period of time may result in any claims on that geocache being disqualified. Play creatively, but also play fairly. More geocachers hiding more geocaches makes for more geocaching fun.

After beginning its tour of Tasmania in Somerset Footloose moved to Ulverstone. After enjoying an afternoon run along the beach in the sun it dived into the nearby greenery to await its next finder.
As Casey Stonor zoomed out to start his tour of Tasmania Footloose dropped in. This is a particularly well crafted cache. Would be a bit scary if you found it in the scrub or behind a rubbish skip at night. We were glad we met this one when it was dropped off. Wonder if or where the other parts have been dispersed.
We will get it out and about soon. We will have to see if we can find a suitably heart stopping hide for this one.
