Decided to do a run along the coast on an unexpected free day, mainly targeting GC caches but a couple of GCA's as well, this was one of the GCA's. A lovely day in Stanley so lots of cars in the nearby carpark but managed to find a spot. TFTC

Completed while on an early morning walk.

Great to finally get a pic of the old lighthouse.
Still in good nick.

The boys were having a spot of F&Cs for lunch in this nice little park and it didn't take too much to get Fitzy to take the necessary shot for me at 13:45. That's gotta be the second smallest lighthouse I've ever seen.

Loved the different shells in the old lighthouse. Our van is featured in this log as galeforce winds blowing prevented a selfie!! What a great place Stanley is.

Thank you for this virtual cache. on my way home from two days touring the Tarkine and called in to Stanley for a few caches.

Today we went down the West Coast to Temma and I was allowed to find some caches on the way, this was one of them.

After visiting various lookouts around Stanley today, RLD4963 and I stopped by here towards the end of the afternoon - lovely afternoon in a very pretty spot. Will have to come back. Required photo attached.

After a cruise on the Arthur River today we headed home but had time to stop and get a couple of caches on the way.
How simple was this one!!!!
Interesting to read the information on the memorial to Patrick Hersey in front of the lighthouse. Time certainly flies!! I remember that tragedy and can't believe it happened way back in 1986.
