Description
One of the new suburbs out in Molonglo Valley, Denman Prospect. It's so new (at the moment) that nobody has moved in yet, but there is certainly signs that some folk will be calling the area home soon.
From the GZ area, you'll get a great view north over the valley. This of course, may change as some of the houses spring up, but even then the views will be ok.
Come on out, grab the cache...who knows, it could be your new home.

Today I travelled up to Marulan with Albida, Minniek and Fitzy concentrating on GC caches. However it didn't take as long as we expected even after stopping in Goulburn to photograph a couple of trigs, so I decided to grab one more cache before heading to Woden for an event. The cache was found and signed. TFTC SDL

Day #1: With a long weekend off, I decided on coming to Canberra for it. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find any accommodation for the Saturday night, so instead, I ended up with a single night but that doesn’t matter. I’m sure I’ll enjoy my Geocaching trip still. I started the Saturday with avenging some DNF’s as well as finding newer caches along ‘Sutton Rd’ to my accommodation in Queanbeyan. Yes, this did include finding the new AL in ‘Gundaroo’ which was great fun and full of history lessons to learn about. After finding these caches, I then booked into accommodation and have a late lunch. Afterwards, I decided on doing the new AL in Queanbeyan. I also decided on walking from my accommodation and visit some of the other caches around. After a rest and dinner, I went and did some night caching. Only two find for this and both were quick finds. Now time to get some sleep.
Day #2: After a great night sleep, I went to attack the GCA ALF trail and the Starwars Letterbox trail plus a few loose caches that were along the way. I started by re-attempting the new AL bonus cache in Queanbeyan but unfortunately, I needed to leave with a DNF again. Well, time to head over to the ALF trail and get started on my bush walk. I collected a couple before I got there. It took about 1h40m for the walk which was a lot, lot faster than when I did it back in 2016 for the GC version of these. It was great fun and full of great views… again. The area has changed a bit since last time. After having a break, it was time to start the Starwars trail. I drove to the end of the trail and worked my way back to the start of the trail. After this I knew I was nearby(ish) a cache that would fill in a gap in my Jasmer grid (May 2017). This is a rare month for me to find because the closest couple to my home coordinates were Canberra and Albury. These are 2.25h of driving each way (totalling 4.5hours) before finding caches and all other driving plus meals. In other words, a big day. It feels great to finally have this finally done. Now time for lunch. After lunch, I decided on collecting some more of the UGC caches, that I qualify for and then it was time to head home from my trip away.
All found caches were a mixture of both GC and GCA caches. TB visit on all found caches. I would like to thank all the CO’s of the caches I found and for allowing them to bring me and others enjoyment. TFTC’s
**P.S. A lot of the caches I found on Day #2 (5/10/20) need TLC.**

Decide to head out to do some caches while taking the kids for a drive before head to the shops. nice hide TFTC Sol De Lune
Seeing this is only a short detour on my way home from work, I came back in the daylight for another look... TFTC - seems it was here after all - I just had to reach a bit further in among the collection of the remains of a million dead insects, and redback spider webs, behind the dinosaur
Dropped by while in the area...and yes, the cache is sitting right where it should be, so all good.
Thanks to BB for checking as well.

Dropped in to check on this one and found that Dino had dislodged the cache. All good now.
came looking on my way past... all I found was a dinosaur guarding the rail ... and an Allen key on the ground - lol
Was in town for the weekend so dropped by here today to pick up my daily cache. Easy find here today but had to wait for a cyclist to pass by first.

We were on our way to Uriarra Village this afternoon when we came across this cache. Despite the persistent rain, we could not drive past a cache. Accurate coordinates and a logical hide location led to a quick find. The cache and its contents were in good condition. Thanks Sol de Lune for the cache.
Nice easy find. Theres certainly a lot of changes to this area recently with new roads and houses.
GCA 1562. Found on a late night run.
Going away for a few days so I got in tonight for a find for today plus grabbed a few moveables. This area sure is growing quick.

On my way here through the new 'burb, was amazed to see a bloke with a "blower" sweeping footpaths where there are no houses. Aside from that, wouldn't be a bad place to live except for the fact that your house will be a firebreak for the rest of Canberra. Cache had been inserted more than it needed to have been so implements were required. Now, should I be doing these after the scavenger hunt has started ?

#GA1055 - 15:25; I was at the movies last night when these were published, but it was past my bedtime by then anyway. No such problem this afternoon, although the weather looked threatening and there were a few showers on and off as I made my way around the CO's newer caches and a couple of slightly older ones. This was the second stop and was a nice quick park and grab. TFTC Sol de lune

Not a bad evening for a drive, especially if there are caches to be found.
We all piled into the car, Black Bunny, me, and three large dogs, and off we went.
Lots of lovely lights to see - Canberra looks all right in the dark.

Thanks Sol for the caches and the evening's entertainment.
