Description
Another old road road in Canberra, no longer used for major traffic. The diffence with this is that you can use it as a cut through....or its main purpose, a car park for exploring around the area...and that's what you are here for. Park at S35 17.508 E149 03.778 and you can then take the short walk to GZ.....just watch the gully you need to cross to access the GZ area.
Once at GZ, check the end of the logs....and all should be good.

Found with Smittengranny after the new years event at the Museum. Hot day to be out and about but SG's aircon was awesome. Quick find. Cache in good condition.

came for a meetup walk at the Arboretum, but I decided to park over here and walk through the cork oaks to/from where everyone else parked
Finally remembered to check if there were any GA caches here, and have come to find this after the walk.
TFTC - nice spot to sit in the sunshine and type my log... which I had to do again because I flattened my phone battery taking silly selfies and didn't notice and plug phone in to power bank until phone turned itself off - lol

Quick detour to sign the log....well would have been quick if it didn't take me a couple of minutes to extract the cache.

Once I found the gap in the fence it was easy to get to. A forgotten bìt of scrubland here. Thanks
Got this one today on my second visit. Yesterday the muggles were too persistent. Today, I waited until a policeman with a radar trap found someone passing too quickly on Gunghalin Drive. Then while I was signing the cache, a truck driver pulled over about 30m away to relieve himself. As I returned to the carpark, two truckloads of road workers arrived for their morning tea break. A little Caching on a short break I could afford today, while I was visiting Canberra at the time and wanted to fit in as much caching as possible. Got a bunch of GC and GCA around the Glenloch Interchange. Thanks for putting this one out SDL
GCA 1274 - 14300. Found during a mini-GCA run around Canberra.
With the last game vastly adding to the number of GCA Caches in Canberra I thought I'd better start to make a dent in them. Next find for the day. I seem to have parked here many times for caches. Jumped the fence, crossed the gorge for a quick find at GZ. Signed the log, returned the cache, and headed off to the next one.

After a somewhat depressing trip to Tuggeranong I stopped past here on the way home. It was a short scramble but a nice peaceful spot.
Thanks

Found today on a cache run after work picking up caches for the SSS. I parked and got over the fence and by the time I got back to the car I had spiders in my hair, ant bites, stick scratches and I am sure I saw/heard a snake. Also got my work top caught in the barbed wire fence but managed to get it unstuck without ripping it. I got back to the car, hit the air con and thought it's no wonder my mates think I am crazy loving this crazy hobby! Cool to get this cache though - thanks again Sol

#GA1065 - 17:55; I was at the movies last night when these were published, but it was past my bedtime by then anyway. No such problem this afternoon, although the weather looked threatening and there were a few showers on and off as I made my way around the CO's newer caches and a couple of slightly older ones. This was the last stop for the day and after selecting the wrong route initially from the previous find, I was soon back on track to a familiar location. Another fence, but this one involved a bit more care due to the barbed wire. Managed to traverse the fence unscathed in both directions and a quick search at GZ saw find number 12 for the mission. Not a bad evening for a drive, especially if there are caches to be found.
We all piled into the car, Black Bunny, me, and three large dogs, and off we went.
Lots of lovely lights to see - Canberra looks all right in the dark.
*FTF*
Thanks Sol for the caches and the evening's entertainment.

Not a bad evening for a drive, so with some new caches to be found we piled into the car and off we went.
Pulled up near GZ and after a short walk we soon had the cache in hand. *FTF* with Just a cacher
