Description
A cache hide for the 2016-2017 Summer Scavenger Series.
A small hide in the Fishermans Bend / Port Melbourne area of Melbourne......and under the Bolte Bridge.
Cache will be an easy find after hours or on the weekends, however if you do go during business hours, you will need to time your grab while watching for the possiblility of passing traffic or nearby workman.
As for the hide, it should be obvious in the area, but if in doubt..........check the hint.

#GA5101 - 09:10; In Melbourne for a couple of days and between errands, there is time for a spot of caching. I was in the area to collect "the magic box" for the Victorian Reverse Geocache (GA6859) from its CO and decided the time was right to finally get this one off the "to do" list as well. Made my way to the right street and after parking the geomobile, took a short stroll for a quick find at an overgrown GZ. The cache was in good nick and replaced as found after the log was duly signed. TFTC Sol de lune

Found It!
A quick find here as the peak hour traffic crawled past overhead. The cache has quite a layer of dust on it due to the nearby business.

Planning for this trip began in June - we knew we would be heading to Adelaide but which way would we go? This depended on our targets. We looked at our list of unclaimed Dragon Zone trophies and picked out several that we could feasibly collect the required number of finds to qualify for the trophy. We then had to identify caches that would meet our targets and from here it was time to plan a route that would take us past the caches we had identified. Any caches too far off our route were discarded and replaced by suitable alternatives.
All was running smoothly until the Christmas in July game was announced. We would be travelling in the latter part of the game. It was difficult to include this in our target caches as we did not know what was required. Once the game began and we understood what we needed to do we could then add other caches to the target list.
We were just getting our heads, yes all four of them, around this when more Dragon Zone trophies were added. Which ones could we meet and which should we ignore? Do we need to add more GA caches and/or do we need to change our route and our targets? We decided on our target list and then our route and timeline. We had just drawn a line under everything and were about to begin printing our caching booklets, route maps and target lists when caught@work published 23 new caches on the Western Ring Path. Earlier we had decided on the caches in the Edgewater Walk series. If we added the new ones on the Western Ring Path and as many of the CCC series as possible, we could probably reach the required number of caches to qualify for the Dragon Zone trophies “Restraining Order Stalker” (Find 100 DZ caches hidden by the same cacher) and “Obsession!=Insanity” (find 50 DZ caches in a day). As the latter would give us our first Blaze Trophy, it was decided to alter everything to include the CCC series.
We usually head out of the Melbourne CBD as soon as we disembark from The Spirit of Tasmania as we do not enjoy city caching. If we were going to tackle the CCC series we would have to start in Docklands, then move to Edgewater walk and the Western Ring Path. Caches in these series also carry nice points for the Christmas in July game. New lists drawn up, alterations made to the route and maps. New line drawn and printing and collating begun. No major changes now (unless something significant gets published just before we leave – we cannot be too inflexible when caching is involved).
It has been some time since we have cached in the Docklands area and our first impression was the large areas of development which have taken place. This development seemed to have impacted on satellite signals as both our GPS units were quite erratic and, in general, took quite some time to settle. The detailed hints were very much appreciated as it enabled us to start searching without waiting for the GPS to settle and so made searching more efficient.
We bolted off the boat this morning as there were no hold ups due to people missing the wake up call and not being in their cars ready to leave soon after 6:30. This meant we arrived at GZ for this cache just on seven o'clock. All was quiet around this part of the dock so we were able to retrieve the cache, sign the log and return everything to the hide without interruption. Container and contents were in very good condition.
Thanks Sol De Lune for this cache we are now off and running in our attempt to find fifty GA caches in one day.

A simple find here today. I needed a few for the Christmas in July game, so I left this one for a while knowing this game was on the way. A simple find here today and everything is well with this geocache.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks for hiding this geocache for us to find here today.

Today I had a few hours up my sleeve.
I headed this way for a pick up.
Work is back but I managed to still find a spot to park close by.
The cache was a quick pick up.
Signed and moved on.

I don't know how I missed this when it was published as it's just around the corner from work. I finally stopped in for a quick find although I had to wait for some muggles to pass by before replacing.
Thanks Sol de lune for the cache. It's definitely a different view from here.

Usain Bolts at a whopping 27.7 MPH which is 44.6 KMH.
n0w0rries is considerably slower than this, however the race was still won.
A beautiful summer's morning under The Bolt (e) today.
The use of a "log extraction" tool is quite often required however on this occasion the TOTT was my universal "cache extractor".
Thanks for the cache Sol De Lune.
Yet another {FTF} for us. :
