Logs
A very pretty spot. Tricky with muggles though and I had to wait for the return leg of my walk before it was quiet enough to retrieve the log. TFTC

I had one batch of caches along the Molonglo river in Coombs left to do today. The track took me to the first two, then it was cross country to a cliff for a great view. I could have returned to the track, but instead I went down to the river and up to the lookout for my next cache. from there I checked out the dam and the map of the trails before heeding into the suburb to get my last cache of the morning.

Now I remember. It isn't the AFL Series that I am not overly fond of but the 50 Places. Parked up as suggested and went looking for this little fellow. I had no intention of caching today, but after an appointed in Woden it just seemed to happen. Ended up doing 4 from this carpark then decided to move on - or will I give up? It's mighty hot today and I didn't start caching in Swinger Hill until after 12:30. I guess I'll just have to see. TFTC SDL

21/29 today.
Second lot of GCA caches were along the river. Arrived near GZ and saw a lot of fencing. Heart sank... Drove around a bit.. found a way in and began the trail
Fortunately the fence doesn't stop you from getting up the dam(n) wall.. cache was quickly spotted and back onto the trail to find some more Trads!

931. So a fisherboy, thankfully on the other side and shielded from view and a grandpa (presumably) and teenage granddaughter walkers made this a bit of a wait to retrieve. All good in the end and the cache is in fine condition. Hadn't been to this particular spot from this direction before - they're doing some nice work. Now a GC on that metal structure?

An easy enough find, although needed to wait for the dog walkers and cycling kids to go past. Thanks.
#1149 - 13:00; I'd walked past this cache on my way over to a similarly named GC cache with a better view! Collected that one and another of the CO's caches nearby before heading back to collect this one which will prove useful in the Summer Scavenger Series. TFTC Sol de lune

A park and an easy walk around the fence and down the path. There are other caches about here that I haven't found, but I might wait until sharp seed season is more over for them. No problem with grass seeds for this cache. TFTC Sol de lune.

Fences and bridge works put an end to this mornings adventure. Luckily, I found a sort of gap in fence that allowed me access from the other part of the walking trail , back into the real world. Then a short walk around another fence and this was in the bag errr glove, errr back under the rock.
After catching up with tankengine at the Ancient Giants cache we headed off to this one to finish the walk. A joint *FTF* with tankengine.
Thanks Sol de lune.

*FTF* with Black Bunny. Walked to this cache with BB, who also hadn't found this one yet. The thunder was sounding more threatening now, but still no rain. Thanks again SDL.
Come on out and check out this area.....and the 7 new GCA caches.
