Description

Please read the hint so you don't confuse this cache with the newer GC that has recently been placed in the area.

After visiting the Molonglo Cottage Ruins cache, its just a little further along the trail to an area where you can view these Ancient Giants.

Once at GZ, you'll be standing on a bridge with one of the Ancient Giants right in front of you.   The cache is basically at your feet....the hint will give further details.

From this cache, the easy way back to your car..................is back the way you have come.    If you go a little further along the trail and up the hill, you'll come to another informative area......eventually there will be more caches along the trail, but not until there has been a bit more work completed on the trail.

Hope you've enjoyed the walk to this point..and maybe learnt a few things along the way.

I went for another walk in Molonglo valley today to check out caches along the woodland track near Coombs. I thought it was a bit funny that some one else placed a cache on the bridge long after the GA cache was in please. I found both without any issues.

Quickly found on my walk along the trail.

Thanks,

Cache found easily enough. Quite a nice peaceful spot, with the sound of running water and frogs nearby.

GCA 2,286. Found while walking the track grabbing a bunch of GC Caches.

An area worthy of a cache. Quick find. Have to laugh at the experienced Cachers who have signed this one rather than the 'other' one.

Ok this one was a bit interesting.....

There are TWO caches in the exact same location, only about 10cm away from eachother...
There is this one, and then the geocaching.com cache (GC80YK4)

There are a total of 9 finders on the geocaching.com cache, who have logged it, but have actually found and signed this container instead....!

So there is a lot of signatures in this caches logbook for the GC cache, as this cache is easier to find and people don't realise that this isn't the cache!

Thanks

Dino and I did the woodland trak today for the new cache out at the end, had to rush past on the way in for the FTF hunt but on the way back out we took our time and appreciated the extra caches to be found. Thank you very much for the cache SDL

#GA2219 - 08:30; I decided to head out early today to grab this one on my way to an appointment at the Blood Bank. Parked the geomobile and headed off along the trail. It was a nice time of the day for a stroll along the trail, but I expect there is much more work to be done as the development of the area continues apace. Once at GZ, I disturbed something which took off quickly and made a splash in the water. I didn't see what it was, probably a lizard? Anyway, it wasn't the cache, which I found safe and snug in its hide and after signing the log, I left it the same way. TFTC Sol de lune Very HappyClan Cerberus

23/29 today.

Second lot of GCA caches were along the river. Arrived near GZ and saw a lot of fencing. Heart sank... Drove around a bit.. found a way in and began the trail

After the DNF at the Cottage, I decided to go find this one, and come back and have another look (not there still Razz)... This was easily spotted.. I wonder where this trail goes?

TFTC SDL!
