This is my first attempt at a Webcam and as it was running continuously live I was able to see other people and work out where to stand. I have added the photos. Sorry I forgot to wave as I needed both hands to get the screenshot. Very Happy

Wandering around Melbourne today and figured I'd finally get FedCam sorted.
It's a shame I didn't get it in time before its archival on the other website, but fortunately it lives on in GCA!
I'm sitting down over on the left.

Thanks for the webcam, atsmug! Very Happy

Come into the city to catch up with a mate, take some photos and grab a couple of caches. Love the architecture of the city. So quiet ATM too. Dancing

Thanks so much for the webcam cache atsmug. Appreciate your efforts Clapping

#GA3891 - 12:20; In Melbourne for a few days and on a cold Melbourne morning, I headed out to collect a few of the GCA caches in and around the CBD which I hadn't logged on previous visits. I've been here before trying for the GC version, but this one was a bit easier! Grabbed a snap of me standing near the acmi sign. TFTC atsmug Very HappyClan Cerberus

I travelled back home to SA from Perth for family reasons and decided that Melbourne is only a short hop from Adelaide, so I logged an attendance at the Parkville Mega event and headed over for 5 days in Melbourne. I hired an E bike and had it for 4 days so was able to get around to many places and grab lots of caches as well as biking from the Youth Hostel in North Melbourne to Parkeville which was only a short ride. I arrived Thursday arvo and headed into the cbd from North Melbourne for a quick look around and then back to the Hostel I grabbed the bike on Friday morning and headed to Docklands and then over to the other side of the cbd and soon arrived at this cache. I can not believe how much the CBD and docklands has changed since we were here about 5 years ago. I took the obligatory selfie here after spending bout 20 mins trying to see myself in the screenshot. Why the camera was pointing in the direction it was left me baffled and that is why it took ages to get the shot. As you can see the shot is actually pointing towards the river through the window of the cafe with me standing next the walkway with the large wall about 20 metres from the bridge. Once i got the shot I then headed off to grab some other caches further afield from here. Thanks for bringing me here and to the cache atsmug.
I drew a circle around myself wearing a red bicycle helmet looking at my phone in a screenshot that i had to enlarge just so you could see me properly. ClappingClan Minotaur

This really was a test of patience, and this was my second attempt. It is I in the striped top on the left hand side of the screen.
Thanks for the opportunity to log this rare webcam.
The kids in the square were having a ball with their antics.

I hired a bike early this morning and grabbed some caches before it got too busy. You can see me in my blue jacket at the bottom of the photo. Thanks for the cache Smile

I'm claiming a find on this cache although I don't have a photo of me waving. After all the trouble I had trying to get a photo for a previous cache at this location I have no plan on doing it again. Check out https://www.geocaching.com/seek/log.aspx?LUID=2ce10da3-90ee-403c-9eb0-3ecafbe62ef8

After walking Spring St to Swanston St finding all of C@W's history caches I headed south for a few others including this one. I arrived at Fed Square to find the screen covered over and a temporary screen set up with a stage and barrier fences all ready for the NYE celebrations. After standing for quite some minutes and seeing nothing but ads on the screen I snapped the attached photo, swore a couple of words about the Fed Square camera, and walked off to the next GCA cache.

Thanks atsmug. Happy to delete if this isn't enough for a log but I certainly wont be repeating the dramas of the GC log Whistle

After a trip to the G to see the mighty pies we bypassed here for a quick photo.

Pulled out the iphone and fired up the web page.

With a few second delay our waves were soon captured.

Did this one last night before heading to the event nearby, thanks for the cache and the little adventure.

My auntie 'cathlud' took me to the cricket and on the way we visited Fed Square so that I could see ourselves on the webcam. There were lots of people there but auntie 'cathlud' took a photo of us. She has circled us.

My niece was eager to see us all on the Webcam when we visited Fed Square this evening, on our way to the cricket, but unfortunately the camera was taking a long-distance view. I hope that this is okay. I have circled us - three people (son with backpack, 11 year old niece and me)

So many tennis watching muggles. Id just walked back from the Australian Open and I dared walk through the middle of them all.

Catching up on my GCA finds since... well, long enough ago to be embarrassing... and I noticed this one on the map.
Here's one I prepared earlier (though not quite as long as twelve years ago).
Thanks, atsmug.

It was a quick stop after work today. I had done the web GC cache here, but today SirJ-Oz helped me with taking the photo

Although there is a similar GC cache nearby, it is NOT a true webcam cache. And last I heard the CO was archiving all their caches, but they must be obsessed with their tuckerbox mail everyday.

Fedcam!
That's me on the right as you see it from the screen or left if you're me with someone on my right. A minor cheat as this photo is some 12 years old and it also up against geocache GCK4EG which is in the same location asking for the same (or similar) outcome.
Do I get FTF on this one as well?
