This is a Webcam powered by the McCrae yacht club to show the conditions on the beach. Thanks for this geocache here today. Not many webcams around nowadays so this is a nice experience to try for something different.

The webcam appears to be working again. The images are up to date at 8:25pm today.
Alas, this webcam wasn't in action during my visit - for some reason the footage on the website is locked on Jan 13th of this year, as you can see in my nice screenshot. This isn't very helpful nor is that particular day's footage picturesque. However, I did check with the CO and am allowed to log a sad selfie at the site. Sad because this was supposed to be my first webcam cache 
Either way, now that I can see the process isn't quite so tricky, I'll attempt more in the future. TFTC Ikkibrady!

TFTC Ikkibrady!I needed a webcam cache for the Summer Scavenger Series and was very pleased when this one was published last week. Being a member of the next yacht club along the bay I am very familiar with the McCrae Yacht Club and will be visiting often over the next few months. I checked the webcam online yesterday and saw many yacht sails obscuring the beach view so this morning I ventured to the suggested sitting spot and recorded my presence.

Needed a webcam cache for our Summer Scavenger Series Hunt and chose this one. A bonus [*FTF*] too.. Thanks Ikkibrady a beautiful day to be by the seaside. Mr T in the middle of the photo standing.
