A little known fact is Van Diemen's Land was divided by the 42nd parallel into two counties in 1804. The 42nd parallel is about 3.46 km north of this site.

This was one of the caches that I did found in Ross.
The day had been very interesting and varied with what I was going to do changing all the time.
I do like the fact that Tasmania had a "bounder".
It wasn't too long ago that a team of surveyors walked the 42nd parallel across Tasmania and marked it out as they went. If you know where to look you can see the markers.
