Description
One to stretch the scavengers
This cache is placed beside the Majura Parkway, along the Centenary trail. It should be easy to find but more of a challenge to retrieve, but hey, it is a 4 terrain.
The cache is not accessible from the roadway and there is a safe parking spot a few hundred metres to the north of GZ.
It is a cache which will more than stretch the biggest scavengers!

I’m on AL from work and decided to spend a couple days in Canberra. Today was day two of three and of course I spent it Geocaching. After the massive (and sleepless) long weekend, I decided to have a sleep in and have a late start. Once I finally got started, I headed over to the Geoscience Centre, to find the caches around there. Afterwards, I found a couple of others that are were only a short drive away before heading off to lunch. Next, I headed into Fyshwick, so I could go to Koorong and use my gift voucher. After that, I looked at the map and decided on heading over to Majura Pkwy, so I could find a few more along the bike trail. I have done most of the trail already. Today, I managed to avenge a past DNF and find a few others ending with #10. After finding #10, it was starting to rain more then I was comfortable with, so I decided to call it quits for today. So the only caches left for me to find along the trail is #1 to #9. Now back to the motel and to get out of the rain. TB visit. A big thanks to the CO for adding this cache to game for the Geocaching community to enjoy. TFTC’s!
When I did this trail a couple of years ago, I totally did missed this cache as I forgot to look at the GCA map. Today, I remembered it was here and so, I made the find. As there is a couple of others nearby which I was still needed to find, I parked as close as possible which ended up being about 50m away. I found a dirt track which was wide enough to drive along and park towards the end of it which was at the bike track. A nice quick find was had but as for the cache it, as soon as I touched it, down it came. Sorry about that. I signed the logsheet and then I wedged the container within the fence. Hopefully, it will stay there. It will need replacing to the correct spot. Thanks for the great cache.

Dropped by this cache today following the DNF. I was a bit concerned as it had gone missing once before. Today though, I'm pleased to say that it is right where it is supposed to be and waiting to be found again.
I had a good look around. I saw nothing that matched the hint. I did see lots of evidence of flooding.
Finally! Pulled over and tucked the car in a little nook and headed down to finally sign this cache.
TFTC LL!

Found while doing the scattering of GC caches along thi way. Finished a lot faster than expected but a nice walk anyway.
Just found the found log in my GPSr.
TFTC and the moonlight.

On my Christmas day ride along the Majura parkway cache series, I found one that was suspiciously close to another cache I had already done. Happily it turned out to be a GA cache.

Did a maintenance run after yesterday's DNF. Part of the cache and the log were missing. The cache and a replacement log have been reinstated, so all ready to go again.
Plan was to grab this one today, however the recent DNF didn't look good. Contacted the CO who was happy to go and do the required maintenance and then I made my find. Obviously the cache is all good and ready to be found again.

Out burning off some Xmas / New Year tucker and this was on the list. Popped by this one to check it out. I soon had the signing duties done and was on my way. Rather sneaky!

I had a busy day with a big family bbq but managed to grab some caches this morning but put this one off as I thought I might need hubby's help. I talked GrimRaider into driving me out after the bbq with the promise that it really was just the one cache I was after. I made my way to gz and managed to spot the cache and make the find. FTF woot woot! I haven't been first for ages! I think people must be away on holidays. Cool cache and all in good condition. Managed to get it back properly too... Thanks a lot LL
