A visit by our Geocaching sister and brother-in-law baby&Mrs gopher provided an opportunity to log this one as it was adjacent to their route home and bg had the necessary equipment to access it in the truck.
Our thanks to Tassie Trekkers for the cache.

In Melbourne for a few days and my son wanted to see what the caching thing was all about, so we headed out to towards Sunbury, grabbing the two caches along the way.

This although not a hard as the last one, it still presented a small challenge. Once at one level though a bit of height came into play and the log was in hand. Was very pleased the container was in the position it was as well.

Thanks TT.....another bonus one for this trip.

After finding a nearby cache we made our way along to this one. As we approached we spotted the container then the question was where do we put the ladder? The first spot we tried didn't work as the ladder was not on stable ground. After doing a circle of GZ we located another spot. This time the ladder was safely wedged and on firm ground.

A quick climb and the log was in hand. The mob of kangaroo on the other side of the fence watched with interest. They were the only muggles around in this area this morning. We're sure the muggles in the sky were too high to be able to see what we were doing.

The contianer and contents were in very good condition.

Thanks for the cache Tassie Trekkers. It fills another cell in our ĢCA difficulty/terrain grid.

A maintenance check on a much beloved (and sadly, muggled to the point of archival) cache just off Providence Rd was the incentive to bring out the tool necessary to get a couple of higher terrain caches.

This was the second... and a tad more technical than the first. I found a nice point of ingress that was stable and solid enough to set the ladder up the tree.

Thanks, Tassie Trekkers, for another hide that cements the Woodlands area as one of my favourite places to be.

had a look at this one when it was first published and walked away thinking it was too hard. I was passing by today and thought I would have another look. I was surprised to see it was still unloved. Anyway with a climb and a stretch the cache was in hand. Our First G.A. {FTF}. grabbed the cool pathtag as well. We are Caravaners ourselves. thanks Tassie Trekkers. TFTC. Razz
