Description

Simple Multi cache

4th February 2017.  I have re written the description to help a little.

The cache is not at the above co ordinates. This is a one point multi. You are looking for a regular sized container. Start your search here. There is a sign very close to the above co ordinates with a mobile phone number on it.The number will have a check sum of  46. Now do a littl bit of addition and subtraction of the numbers after the decimal point in both the South and East  numbers. The co ordinate numbers that matter are S. 629 and E .528.

For the new numbers for 629

6  add 1st digit of mobile #.

2  Subtract digit five from digit 6 of the mobile # and add it to the 2.

9   Add digits 2 and 3 together and subtract from the 9.    Check sum of these three is  15

For the numbers 528.

5  subtract digit 3 of the mobile phone # from the 5.

2  Add digit 2 from the mobile phone # to the 2.

8 Subtract digit three of the mobile phone number from the 8.  Check sum of these three is 17

There is a track going south from the Grey water tank. Take this. You can actually see the GZ host from here if you look hard.  Be careful walking towards GZ in the long grass as there are a few hidden pieces of tmber lying in the grass.

As there is mobile phone coverage at the given co ordinates but weak signal strength if in trouble ring me on 0438 292 402.

#GA3486 - 08:05; Day 2 of the South East Queensland tour with Sol de lune. Made it to Nanango late yesterday after getting belted by a storm later in the afternoon/early evening. Much to our relief the heavy rain seems to be moving on and it is only overcast and occasional light drizzle this morning. Spending today caching around Nanango and Kingaroy and hoping to clear a swag of GCA puzzles from the 'solved but unfound' list we have been compiling for the past couple of years. Sdl had done this multi before, so I set off solo to gather the required information and soon had a reasonable set of coords. Headed to GZ and made the find. Returned to the geomobile to find Sdl having a chat with a local farmer who had some weaner calves in the yards. Bid our new friend adieu and headed on our way with the rain clearing at last! After a few puzzles, it was time for a multi. Arrived at the posted co-ords and found the required info. Set about working out a GZ and soon had that sorted and headed out towards GZ. Found the cache nicely hidden away and managed to sign the log while standing in-situ. Replaced the cache as found and was soon heading back to the car.

Thanks for the multi, and another cache Youngoldfella.....

Staying longer than initially planned as the GeoCruiser is at the Toyota Doctors. Brick Wall

Today we headed out on the GeoBikes to explore the area. Managed to find a good number of quality caches both GC and GCA.

After arriving back to the van on the bikes, Mr Felix headed out to attempt some of the puzzles we had solved that were still awaiting a FTF.

Decided to tackle this one too with the updates. Unluckily here, it turned out that we were actually 3TF so a very busy spot today! Rolling Eyes

We couldn't get the checksum for the second number to work out no matter how we looked at it ( First number worked out well.)
Anyway we checked out the coords that we calculated 'just in case' as it was quite near another puzzle GZ that we'd solved. But had no luck.
