This little cache is out and about again in SA.
Picked this cache up on our way to catch the ferry. Tucked into our cache bag in the back of the boot
Out and about on a wintery Saturday afternoon to rehide these moveable caches, hope they don't stay in this weather for too long!
Needed a cache today to fill in a gap on our DZ caching calendar so set off on a loop through Beaconsfield. Managed to find ten moveable caches, all with good coordinates and hints which certainly makes life easier. Lots of traffic on the road on a lovely mild Easter Tuesday but made quick finds each time. We'll hide these ones out on the north west coast in the next couple of days. TFTC
Collected whilst in the area.
Many thanks Alnic39 for publishing this cache and adding to our geocaching experience.

Journey or Destination
Game Period: 01-Dec-2018 00:00:00 to 31-Jan-2019 23:59:59 AEST
It is sometimes said [citation needed] that the game of geocaching is not about the destination it is about the journey. This game is about the choices you make in the experience of the journey or the destination.
On your entry to the game you will be asked to create a playing field with a number of ground tiles. Your playing field is a grid 20 x 20 ground tiles making a total number of 400 possible steps you can take on your journey or destination. You choose whether you want to find and follow the path or whether you wanted to meander around. A playing field is unique to each player so there is no benefit in teaming up to beat the system through brute force.
For each qualifying geocache that you hide or find during the game period you will be offered the opportunity to click on a ground tile and reveal what lies beneath. There are a number of different ground tiles that will be revealed when you click on your playing field. It should be noted that there are no punishments for clicking a tile but there will not always be the reward you were hoping for as you reveal each tile.
Dirt. The ground beneath the ground tile is just plain old brown dirt.
Dirt with some points. The ground beneath the tile is brown dirt but it has some points associated with it.
Concrete. The ground beneath is part of the pathway that will lead you on your way to your destination but has no point value.
Start. A concrete ground tile that has a blue map marker.
Destination. A ground tile that has a green map marker.
Meandering around and avoiding the path will accumulate points that will be used to place on you the ladder of wanderers. The more you stay off the path the higher the number of points you will accumulate and it will be your journey that will be the determining factor in whether you place into a prize winning position. You are free to select any ground tile to click on; they do not need to be next to each other.
Trying to find the path may mean you strike out on the dirt until you eventually come across the path and as a geocacher who can't say that this isn't a tried and true method. Once you find the path however will you try and follow the path as it changes direction around your playing field? Do you go North, South, East or West to try and find the next concrete tile along the path? If you head one way are you heading towards the start or towards the destination? When you do happen upon the destination tile then you will automatically be in a winning position.
At any point you are free to change from the journey to the destination and vice versa but you won't be able to regenerate your playing field. You are also free to keep playing as long as you have qualifying geocaches, accumulating more and more dirt tile points and placing you higher and higher on the ladder.
Qualifying geocaches fall into two categories. Finds and Hides.
A qualifying find is a geocache that meets the following criteria:
The geocache is listed at Geocaching Australia
The geocache has a hidden date prior to the game commencing
The geocache was logged by you on the Geocaching Australia website during the game period
The geocache was physically found by you during the game period
The geocache is not owned by you unless it is a moveable geocache
The geocache has not previously been found by you during the game period
The geocache is one of the following types:
Burke and Wills
Moveable (you will qualify only once for a find on a moveable geocache)
Traditional
TrigPoint
Augmented Reality
Beacon
Gadget
Multi-cache
Night Cache
Podcache
Reverse
Unknown or Mystery
A qualifying hide is a geocache that meets the following criteria:
The geocache is listed at Geocaching Australia
The geocache has a hidden date after the game has commenced
The geocache was published on the Geocaching Australia website during the game period
The geocache has a container size of regular or larger (Note: A regular geocache has a volume of 1 litre or more)
The geocache is one of the following types:
Moveable
Traditional
Augmented Reality
Beacon
Gadget
Multi-cache
Night Cache
Podcache
Reverse
Unknown or Mystery
The game tracking mechanism relies upon your honesty when logging geocaches as found or hidden.
The games administrators will undertake verification of a statistically significant number of logs.
Players who continually log inaccurate information will be disqualified from the game. The game administrators decision is final.
The game administrators will subtract qualifying hide or find geocaches from your tally if they are found to be not genuine.
The game administrators reserve the right to provide clarifications to the rules at any point during the game.
Don't forget to claim your limited time game trophies, if your qualify, while the game is in progress. Once the game completes the ability to claim your trophies is lost for ever.

Alnic's Christmas decoration went for a drive to the Huon, missed out on cherries (orchard not yet open) but scored some raspberries. Left as a surprise near the shed.
Today attended geocaching australia event: The Moveable are Here!!, graciously hosted by Tassie Trekkers. Was fortunate to make it to the event as was not working and I only noted that it was going to be held on the previous evening - almost missed it. So many moveables in the one spot, roughly 150 in attendance. Nothing for it but to record a couple of notebook pages full of numbers. Have come across a this little tubular fellow in the past, hello again.. thanks..!!

Time for a muster of some of the (older) moveables in Canberra. This one is now in my hands and heading off to Melbourne to find a new home and hopefully found a few more times.
#GA2754 - 18:10; Day six of the 2018 Oz GeoMuster mission with Sol de lune. After a night in Kempsey, the plan for today was to cache southward through Harrington, Crowdy Head, Forster Tuncurry and then in to Sydney, in particular Rockdale and Cronulla to set up for an assault on a series of puzzle caches tomorrow morning. After another early start we soon found ourselves in Harrington, then on to Crowdy Head for the trig and the lighthouse out there. After checking out the views in Crowdy Head, it was back to the highway for a while before taking the turn off for Forster and a couple more finds. Took the tourist drive back out of town, emerging near Bulahdelah and then south along the highway back to Lake Macquarie to collect a couple more caches on the way past and then to check in on the remnants of the Mega crowd in Morisset before setting off for Sydney. Made it through the traffic much better than we did on the outward leg and soon found ourselves in Rockdale where we added another dZ to our found list. Just need the locals to get some caches into Marrickville and Ashfield now to complete the set in Sydney. It was then time to head into The Shire for a last run for the evening before setting up camp for the night. Made our way through the Camelia Gardens to GZ and after a bit of a wander up and down Sdl made the find and will move the cache on. TFTC alnic39

Day 6 of the Sol de Lune / LuckyL10n great northern escape. Or better put, a run up the NSW coast after attending the Morisset event.
After an overnight stop at Kempsey and a visit to Crowdy Head, Forster and Rockdale, this area was our next stop....after a long drive and battling the Sydney traffic. (Don't tell anyone but the traffic was pretty good today)
We searched for a few minutes before it was spotted. So now in my hands and I will relocate shortly.
Thanks Alnic39....sorry we missed you at the Mega.

What a surprise this was! nana nel and wazza9 suddenly emerge out of the bush holding a bag full of GCA caches - got me out of a hole thank you very much
Found with 10 other movables, what a great find. Thanks. Picked up.

In the area for a GC Event tomorrow morning and Nana nel said we had to find this GA cache. Surprised to find that the bag holding 11 moveable caches. It looks like these were last logged some time ago and we Nana nel, PPrass and wazza9 will get many forgotten days.
On our way to Canberra & noted this get together which would see some local GCA cachers in attendance. Drove the disco into the camp site but only saw cyclists, their vehicles & RVs so perhaps to early. A busy location. Had morning tea at the Wingello store which was delightful. Hid a bunch of moveables along cycle route 2.
Rocked up at Numbaa to find this movable and to find a nearby cache and neither were found. I had intended to call by earlier in the day but got sidetracked and missed the turn-off, so I figured I would just call by on the way back through this afternoon. I should have looked at the app before coming here.
Picked up this cache during a visit to one of my ancestors. Will move it along soon.
Arrangement made to have a bunch of moveables picked up so don't look here.
My Magellan is kaput but loath to replace it with the equivalent Garmin as it gets poor reviews. Added cache as a waypoint manually then tried to use phone for finer details but even with 100% couldn't read screen. Found as hinted. Thanks Roger.
Now moved to a nice tree, toward the end of the branch on the East side.
Got you again you little dickens, I will have to find a good hidey hole for you soon.

Moved up the mountains to see the local Geocacher.
Its a Christmas Decoration so naturally its hanging in a tree.
Found this hanging in a rather unusual tree. Made of wood and nails. I've taken this but too afraid to hang it in my tree lest a horde of cachers come crashing through the window in their haste to find it.

Cache collected & is currently sitting at my event. Will move on if no one claims first.
