Description

A walk leading to a dead end.

I hid a geocache in here called Coolangatta Ridge GA8989 but I assume the fear of snakes & feral deer have put you off. I have now hidden a couple more to encourage you to venture in this way. This one is hidden near one of the dead ends I discovered when trying to find the bridal track. It is a pleasant walk in the bush with a couple of eroded gullies to contend with. I walked down a track leading off to the right off the main track heading to Coolangatta Ridge. It is shady & leads to another track, also on your right. which eventually leads to the cache. Once you have found this one head back & you will see a track going straight ahead at the junction - this leads to Bridal Track? GA10661 then the track to Coolangatta Ridge.

There is a FTF prize of a container full of polished stones.

Parking is at the end of Roxbrough Road Far Meadow at S34 50.404 E150 42.069.

It has been quite a while since I was up Coolangatta, but today with a few hours to spare I decided to have another look. Went in from the western side and quickly found the track head. After a few hundred meters the tracks started to go everywhere, but a really nice shady forest was my pleasure. Did a bit more exploring then just the two caches and enjoyed my afternoon here. A nice hidden gem.

Heading back from Shellharbour this morning from picking up a new tent I stopped in to take a stroll around the Bridal Trails and grab a couple of caches,Ive been to the top twice from a different route but today was the first time ive explored this side of the mountain.
The walk was mostly easy and very enjoyable,I pasted 3 on horse back so the trail sure lived up to the name.
At GZ I soon had my had on the cache and was very excited to collect the polished stones.
Thanks Tuena for bringing me out here to enjoy the trails,im sure I'll be back again.

It's actually regular in size but no prizes for that.
