#GA3542 - 16:44; Day 2 of the South East Queensland tour with Sol de lune. Made it to Nanango late yesterday after getting belted by a storm later in the afternoon/early evening. Much to our relief the heavy rain seems to be moving on and it is only overcast and occasional light drizzle this morning. Spending today caching around Nanango and Kingaroy and hoping to clear a swag of GCA puzzles from the 'solved but unfound' list we have been compiling for the past couple of years. We were now underway and enjoying a variety of cache types and hides, some taking longer than other to make the find amongst the long grasses and having to make the right choice from the variety of possibilities available. Also enjoyed solving the puzzles, even though there was plenty of head scratching and later on forehead slapping along the way! Towards the end of the day we met the CO himself, who joined us for some geobanter as we collected some caches close to home. Really appreciate the effort that has gone into placing and maintaining the many caches in the area. Apologies for the largely generic logs. TFTC youngoldfella Very Happy

Sol de lune

Solved before leaving home a few days ago and he 3rd stop while heading towards town. Always like this puzzle type and was good to find the cache once at GZ. Log was signed and the cache replaced and it was almost time to head to town for lunch...but as it turn out, a few more were found.

Thanks for this one Youngoldfella...another fun one to grab.

Today we headed out on the GeoBikes to explore the area. Managed to find a good number of quality caches both GC and GCA.

Lucky for us we recognised this puzzle very quickly although confirmation was helpful by reading the cache page. Wink
