Description
Welcome to Caringbah South!
The Sutherland Shire Council has placed these kind of boards at the entrace of every suburb. It gives a common indicator in which suburb you are and some background on the name of the area. The whole board is non-magnetic, except for the metal bars sticking out at the top. They are about two meters from the floor, hence the difficulty of 2 for this cache.
Caringbah South starts south of Caringbah road, as such I don't live in there. While the area of this cache is considered middle class, every block of houses further south adds $100k to the price of the houses and goes up exponentially when you are in the last 100 meters.
Bring you step, a ladder or a strong friend with you to grab this cache!
Logs
In plain sight and I could just reach it. No need to use the bike as a ladder. TFTC

The rain was getting heavy but I parked in the side road and walked to GZ, where I could see the container just in reach. Logged in the car and returned as and where found. Thanks for the hide.
I'd driven past this many times, today I decided to stop as I needed a find for this months caching game, so many muggles so close by...ahhh

#GA2758 - 16:50; Day six of the 2018 Oz GeoMuster mission with Sol de lune. After a night in Kempsey, the plan for today was to cache southward through Harrington, Crowdy Head, Forster Tuncurry and then in to Sydney, in particular Rockdale and Cronulla to set up for an assault on a series of puzzle caches tomorrow morning. After another early start we soon found ourselves in Harrington, then on to Crowdy Head for the trig and the lighthouse out there. After checking out the views in Crowdy Head, it was back to the highway for a while before taking the turn off for Forster and a couple more finds. Took the tourist drive back out of town, emerging near Bulahdelah and then south along the highway back to Lake Macquarie to collect a couple more caches on the way past and then to check in on the remnants of the Mega crowd in Morisset before setting off for Sydney. Made it through the traffic much better than we did on the outward leg and soon found ourselves in Rockdale where we added another dZ to our found list. Just need the locals to get some caches into Marrickville and Ashfield now to complete the set in Sydney. It was then time to head into The Shire for a last run for the evening before setting up camp for the night. Managed to find a parking spot not far from GZ while Sdl commenced the hunt and came up with a find. TFTC Team MavEtJu

Day 6 of the Sol de Lune / LuckyL10n great northern escape. Or better put, a run up the NSW coast after attending the Morisset event.
After an overnight stop at Kempsey and a visit to Crowdy Head, Forster and Rockdale, this was our next stop....after a long drive and battling the Sydney traffic. (Don't tell anyone but the traffic was pretty good today)
Managed to park right at GZ and soon had the cache in hand. It was at this point at a fellow walking our stopped to say hello.....The Hancock Clan, who had been to Morisset event as well. We had a chat about all things caching before moving off to find a nearby moveable. It really is a small world at times.....
Thanks for this one TMEJ....a fun little encounter as it turned out...

I have driven past this many times but haven't stopped.
Today I was out to get caches to help NSW and needing a Nano, this was my start for the day.

Stopped here this morning early while it was still raining a bit a quick find & I could reach it. To stay out of the rain went and sat in my car to sign. The log was a bit damp and when I tried to roll it back up it snapped. Rolled both pieces together. Thanks for the cache Team MavEtJu

Yay, FTF after one whole month. As I was using my GPS I didn't get to see the incredibly specific image on the cache page so I had to work it out myself. When I read the hint I thought that maybe I would have to get a TOTT from the car - the reluctant geochild to balance upon my shoulders - but I had enough height and stretch to be able to get it myself. Finally, I can give my clan some points in the Summer Scavenger Series by finding an actual traditional cache! Thanks Team MavEtJu.
