Description

The above co-ordinates are not the location for this cache. Large Cache Terrain 5!!!!!!

To locate this cache you must first locate two nearby caches, SSS 2016/2017 Nevile Lawrie Reserve cache #1 and SSS 2016/2017 Nevile Lawrie Reserve cache #2.
On the back of the lids in each of these caches is part of the co-ordinates needed to locate this cache.

The cache is a Terrain 5 so be careful. You can tackle it from the bottom of the steep rocky hillside or the top.
I used a small camping foldable shovel/pick tool (the pick side)to traverse up the hill. Loose rocks and steep decent is what you will encounter to find this LARGE cache and make it your worthwhile. A lot of this hill is the rubbish and rocks pushed here when digging out the old quarry.
PLEASE TAKE CARE!!!! Very loose rocky slope.
This cache is hidden in the Neville Lawrie Reserve on the eastern side of the Quarry Lake.  This quarry was once mined for Gold and is now an awesome swimming hole for locals. It is not a busy place as you need to like hiking/mountain biking to get there.
There are many well groomed tracks to explore and lots of wildlife as well. You may see wallabies, lace monitors and be lucky to spot a koala.
Have fun with this challenge. My Apologies for the Terrain 5 ....I had to do it for Summer Scavenger Series 2016.

Out and about with 2Wagtails and Miss Fitz today. Onward and upward we went. Dancing
I wished I'd worn thicker pants - I slid most of the way to GZ on my backside Very Happy
I found the lid off the pen that the previous finder in January said they'd dropped.
Getting back up the hill was a challenge too.
