Description
This cache is the 2nd find for the Mystery SSS 2016/2017 T5 Slip and Slide
This Traditional cache will lead you to a Terrain 5 LARGE cache...so if you ar not up for it you can still log this cache on it's own and at a later date after grabbing the clues you can bring along someone more agile.
You will need to note down one set of co-ordinates written under the lid. The cache is hidden in the Neville Lawrie Reserve.
The best place to park is at the Parking area on Ford Rd at the start of the D & C Burnett Conservation area.
S27 36.517 E153 11.052. The track will take you through to the adjoining Nevill Lawrie Reserve, The Venman National Park and the Daisy Hill Conservation Park.
There is a lot of tree cover and low trees and gullys and rocks where this cache is hidden so it may be a bit tricky. You are not far from the Quarry Lake now it is just over to the West. This area is covered in rusty debris left over from days gone by from the gold mining that was done here, it is more solid fill and has hidden bits sticking out here and there. Take care to look where you are going and watch out for mountain bikers.
This cache is off track. You may need to duck and weave under low branches.
DON'T FORGET TO NOTE THE C0-0RDINATES DOWN OFF THE UNDERSIDE OF THE LID.
Please hide with adequate cover as these caches are not found often.
Good luck and happy hunting.

Walked around for a while trying to fond a stop which resembled the hint and my hiking pole found it under the 2 year old natural cover.

Arrived back in this area 4.5 hours before our flight home. Decided to allow 2 hours to grab as many as we could now that we had a few more GZ co-ords. Started off with a brisk walk down this was for a few trads and maybe one or two puzzles.
Arrived at GZ, however nothing could be found. Looked around at other possible objects...and cam across the cache lying out in the open. Cache was good condition and not damaged in any way, so all was good. Log was signed and the cache replaced at the nearest point to the GZ that matched the hint. Covered it in rocks so the next finder/s should be all good to go with it.
Thanks Sambuccasam....now off in another direction....and as it turned.
Coordinates noted and we moved on to the next cache.

Collected the second set of coordinates here and we were soon on our way to the final.

Another good hide. Good coords too. All in great condition here.
Lots of nice swaps. TNLN. Took a photo of the coord and we were one our way to the final.
