Description
Western Freeway Path Multi-cache Walk [SSS]
The Summer Scavenger Series suggests that we hide a multi-cache to gain some points for our clan. (Go, Go, Griffin Gold!)
This is the simplest of multi-caches.
At the posted co-ordinates you will find a signpost for the Western Freeway Path.
Tilburn Rd / Forest Street A.B km
Robsinsons Rd C.D km
X = A times 4
Y = B times 3
Z = C times 4
L = D
M = D
N = B times 3
The geocache can be located at
S37 47.XYZ
E144 46.LMN
You will have a walk of around 400-500m to the geocache location but you should be able to find other geocaches along the way to make your walk even more pleasurable.

Today we cached along the Western Fwy Path and found your cache along the way. A straight forward multi that led us to GZ, but the cache had been muggled and we only found the lid. Added our name to a sheet of paper and returned lid to stump.
Many thanks caughtatwork for placing this cache.

A fun multi. Last find before having to take off the sunnies... let the night time fun begin.
I decided to continue exploring the western bike trails... this time the Western Freeway was my target, so I caught the train to Sunshine to ride the last section of the Kororoit Creek before continuing westward.
A fine evening, and a mostly successful hunt (apart from a couple of fruitless scrambles in the bushes), and edging closer to the 10% target I want to maintain.
Thanks, C@W.

This was a targeted cache for SOTN ..... but I sure wish I had my bike which was at home in Sydney. Instead I went for a quiet walk along the pathway in temps getting warmer and warmer. This would certainly be a great power trail to ride..... I had no problems finding the cache but it was not covered. I'ved added a bit more camo. Thanks for all these well placed caches and for making them findable with great descriptions and clear hints.

Another multi...like that. Set about sorting the GZ and soon had that in hand. Decision then was what to do. Decided that it could wait and we could grab it a little later. Once at GZ, that little later, the good size cache was soon in hand and we could retreat to the comfortable seats of the car....
Thanks for the multi [email protected] to get something different.

#GA1916 - 14:50; Day three of a caching mission to Victoria with Sol de lune. Our major goal for the week is to complete the SSS and other series along the Western Freeway/Ring Road and to then collect enough GCA caches around Docklands to bring our total finds for the day to 100+ which would build our trophy cabinets a bit more as we completed a few more 'missions'. This was the last of 82 finds along the various series, where we only had the one DNF as we gathered the information on the outward leg and collected the cache on our way back to the geomobile! We had arrived in Melbourne early to catch the Spirit of Tasmania back to Tassie tonight. That gave us the opportunity to look for more caches along the Western Ring Path, ones that we didn't find in April because we ran out of time. We were pleased that the rain of yesterday had gone and, apart from a cold breeze, the walking conditions were very pleasant. Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks caughtatwork for the cache and the series.

With a few hours spare today I decided to pick up a few GCA caches.
After dropping a few gnomes here and there this was my first.
Co-ords were spot on.
A fresh log to sign it was.
