Today we cached along the Western Fwy Path and found your cache along the way. A straight forward multi resulting in a quick find. Cache and contents were in good condition.
Many thanks GabGab for placing this cache.

This location seems to be the switch back. A couple of individual muggles wandered up, turned around and walked back towards the east.
I'm sure it had nothing to do with me.
With the numbers gathered and crunched, a nice easy find followed soon after.
Now, what to do? I started back the way I had come from and then decided, it's a great day for a walk! U-turn. Heading west again now.
After crossing the road at the lights, the hunt continued.
Thanks for this cache GabGab, I do love a quick multi.

travelled back home to SA from Perth for family reasons and decided that Melbourne is only a short hop from Adelaide, so I logged an attendance at the Parkville Mega event and headed over for 5 days in Melbourne. I hired an E bike and had it for 4 days so was able to get around to many places and grab lots of caches as well as biking from the Youth Hostel in North Melbourne to Parkeville which was only a short ride. I arrived Thursday arvo and headed into the cbd from North Melbourne for a quick look around and then back to the Hostel I was too early to pick up the bike so jumped on a tram and headed to the docklands and grabbed some caches in the area. I can not believe how much the CBD and docklands has changed since we were here about 5 years ago. I met up with a friend who needed to head out of the cbd for a very quick business trip out to Deer Park and while he was in a meeting i grabbed this one which was nearby. Thanks for the cache GabGab sadly it was the only one i could grab before we headed back into the metro area so he could go to another appointment. Still trying to log all my finds whilst there.

And a lovely little multi to finish this sector on. Nice.
I decided to continue exploring the western bike trails... this time the Western Freeway was my target, so I caught the train to Sunshine to ride the last section of the Kororoit Creek before continuing westward.
A fine evening, and a mostly successful hunt (apart from a couple of fruitless scrambles in the bushes), and edging closer to the 10% target I want to maintain.
Thanks, GabGab.

Always enjoy a multi and when on trail like this it always adds a little variety to the day. No problems with the calculation and we soon had our GZ worked out. Loved the location so we grabbed the cache rather than stopping on the way back. Once at GZ it was another sort of limbo dance, but the cache was soon in hand. Log signed and we were soon on our way again.
Thanks for another one GabGab.....

#GA1841 - 09:12; Day three of a caching mission to Victoria with Sol de lune. Our major goal for the week is to complete the SSS and other series along the Western Freeway/Ring Road and to then collect enough GCA caches around Docklands to bring our total finds for the day to 100+ which would build our trophy cabinets a bit more as we completed a few more 'missions'. This was one of 82 finds along the various series, where we only had the one DNF! TFTC GabGab

We spent the morning walking the bike/walking paths along side the Western Highway. We enjoyed the variety of hides, the accuracy of the coordinates and the size of the containers. Most caches were quick finds and the caches and their contents were in good condition. Data collection at WP1 was straightforward. Then it was a short walk to GZ where we were able to make a quick find. Thanks GabGab for this cache and the many placed in the area.
A multi-cache is not normally a cache type I would tackle, but being a GCA cache I generally try for them all regardless of type. This was a very simple multi with travel of only a few dozen metres so it was nice to reach in and grab a regular sized cache too. Wow. Not many 1 litre containers around nowadays, especially not ones with swaps. Such a call back to the olden golden days of geocaching. Thanks for this geocache here today GabGab, I appreciate the style and substance of these geocaches.

I stood in front of the sign and keyed all the numbers into my phone (it pays to carry notepaper ), worked out GZ then realised it was much easier that I had made it.
Thanks for the multi. It'll help Phoenix leap ahead.

Trekked round here in the auto and parked close by.
WP1 had me testing rather quick calculations.
Boom it was correct and the log was clear after a nice walk.
