Description
Micro Mania [SSS]
The Summer Scavenger Series suggests that we hide a micro geocache to gain some points for our clan. (Go, Go, Griffin Gold!)
Micro geocaches are not my favourite because they are generally hidden inappropriately in terms of the maximum size container that they can be or they are hidden handing in a tree amongst a grove of other trees. I'm certain that the owners think they have hidden the best possible geocache whereas as lot of finders probably grit their teeth, make the find and try to write something nice. I know as a finder I do the latter.
This one is a geocache hanging in a tree. Before you complain too much, it's the only tree there, it's sparesly branched and leafed and the cache is a small black bison tube which makes it slightly easier to find than a nano. If you know where to look you can spot it from the path and as you approach it should get clearer and clearer to see until you are at the tree in which case it is almost impossible not to spot. I've marked this a difficulty 2 just in case you are geocaching and you are blind.
Please combine this geocache with the other geocaches along the Western Freeway Path which will net you a find and a nice walk too.

Logs
Many thanks caughtatwork for placing this cache.
I decided to continue exploring the western bike trails... this time the Western Freeway was my target, so I caught the train to Sunshine to ride the last section of the Kororoit Creek before continuing westward.
A fine evening, and a mostly successful hunt (apart from a couple of fruitless scrambles in the bushes), and edging closer to the 10% target I want to maintain.
Thanks, C@W.

Thanks again for another one C@W
Another bites the dust.
A little further on there was this sneaky little hider.
I signed another fresh log and moved on.
