Description
The Black Bison [SSS]
The Black Bison [SSS] is a micro geocache hidden for the Summer Scavenger Series.
caughtatwork kindly provided me the black bison and then we had to find somewhere to hide it. An out of the way place where you will have to duck and weave to get to it, but it's an area that shouldn't suffer from exposure when the grass is cut.
Where will you find the black bison at this location? It depend on how you think and whether you use the hint. The geocache is placed logically and it not a hunt and destroy geocache, you should be able to spot when you are at the co-ordinates but if you need assistance use the hint for help.
Hints
Vg'f oynpx, vg'f ybj, vg'f unatvat, vg'f evtug va gur pbeare. |

Following on from the section to the east of here.
Quickly found using the hint, although someone seems to have gold plated your Black Bison. How thoughtful of them.
My first find this afternoon that isn't actually unloved.
Thanks for the cache GabGab.

The needle said one way, logic dictated the other. Logic wins.
I decided to continue exploring the western bike trails... this time the Western Freeway was my target, so I caught the train to Sunshine to ride the last section of the Kororoit Creek before continuing westward.
A fine evening, and a mostly successful hunt (apart from a couple of fruitless scrambles in the bushes), and edging closer to the 10% target I want to maintain.
Thanks, GabGab.

#GA1842 - 09:16; Day two of a caching mission to Victoria with Sol de lune. Our major goal for the week is to complete the SSS and other series along the Western Freeway/Ring Road and to then collect enough GCA caches around Docklands to bring our total finds for the day to 100+ which would build our trophy cabinets a bit more as we complete a few more 'missions'. This was one of 82 finds in just under 6 hours along the various series, where we only had the one DNF! Apologies for the mostly generic logs. TFTC GabGab

Off and running now along the path and it was simply a matter of riding, stopping, finding the cache, signing the log, replacing the cache and then moving on to the next one. No problems here and we were soon on our way again.
Thanks for one GabGab....

We spent the morning walking the bike/walking paths along side the Western Highway. We enjoyed the variety of hides, the accuracy of the coordinates and the size of the containers (although this was a micro). Most caches were quick finds and the caches and their contents were in good condition. Thanks GabGab for this cache and the many placed in the area.
The black bison was no challenge for the Oregon 600 and the cache was soon in hand. A little bending ovcer to retrieve and replace, but well out of anyone's sight here. Thanks for this quick little find on the western freeway path. A nice series of cache of different sizes, caches types and hide styles.

A quick and easy find before crossing the road for a few more Phoenix points.
Thanks again GabGab.

At first i was looking in the wrong spot.
Then I reached a little further and boom.
Before long I had signed the log and move on.
