Description
Three-stage multi
This is a straight forward multi that will take you to three locations involving a short hike in Manning Park. The published coordinates will place you next to a gate with a number. Assign the gate number to X in the calculations below to find the coordinates for waypoint 2.
Waypoint 2 coordinates: S32° 05.ABC E115° 45.DEF
Where:
- A = X + 6
- B = 5 - X
- C = X + 5
- D = 10 - X
- E = 7 + X - 1
- F = 6 - X
Here, you will find a 1 litre Sistema container with the coordinates for the cache location and a tool that you will need to retrieve the cache from its hidy hole. The cache is just a short walk from here.
After signing the log, please ensure that everything is replaced as found.

Found the cache with Lazarus. I spent quite some time trying to find the required tool. Once this was in hand we walked over to the cache and quickly had it in hand. Nice spot to sit back and enjoy the view cooling off with the sea breeze.

Caching name now officially written in log.
Note to next finder: take care when opening lid at WP2, tool likely to jump out.

I had thought that the final was a safer hide than WP2 when I originally set it up ... seems I got that very wrong . Thanks for maintaining it again Chwiliwr.
Laz, being "too old" for something is a state of mind. You're only too old when you admit it . Keep on caching I say.

Bit hard to prove the right GZ when there was no container to be found there.
Anyway as we didn't have the right sort of container there is now a nano replacing the missing container at GZ.

After multiple visits here, glad to have finally found WP2 and final GZ. However, must declare I'm now too old for this type of search; leave it to the young ones in future.
Suggest future cachers bring an old blanket or towel to lie on, reduce getting dirty at WP2.
Did not think to bring spare container, however will sign replacement log at next opportunity.
Thank you firnsy & Chwiliwr

Increased it to D 3.5 because everyone seems to have trouble at WP 2 ... but I don't think it really is that hard as there's not many places to hide a 1 litre Sistema there. No need to scratch yourself looking under bushes, but don't be shy about getting down on your hands and knees.
Thanks Chwiliwr for checking it again ... I hadn't meant for this to be a difficult find.
Had a good old look around the 2nd WP for a while but couldn't locate the container
Whilst on a walk around the new GC caches I called in to check on this one.
All bits are still in place and OK.

Thanks for checking it Chwiliwr.
Difficulty level increased to 3. The 1 litre Sistema is well hidden because there was evidence of alcohol and other substances having been consumed in the area - but I had intended for it to be reasonably straight forward for experienced cachers. It's not where someone will trip over it accidentally, but you do need to have a bit of a poke around in one of the obvious places.
Hopefully the next and subsequent finders will replace it exactly as found.

Found today with the family.
I just tagged along and enjoyed the views.
Thanks for the cache.

Found this with my family.
Had no trouble with getting to GZ (thanks granddad) and loved the cool wind blowing me over on the way.
Ta for the cache.

Out with the family. Chwiliwr had tried for this one before but couldn't find it so we all decided to go along to help today.
Took a while to negotiate the 'stairs' but got there in the end.
This time Chwiliwr managed to find the container with the tool after a couple of goes at the same spot and after he finally managed to get us to GZ I found the cache with the tool.

What an adventure this was.
I had been here a couple of times before over the last few days but didn't find the container at the waypoint so had to get confirmation from CO that I was in the right place.
Once I had the coordinates confirmed I came with the family today.
First we had to get tbh and Gwawr up the steps and then we had to look again at all the spots I had searched the previous two times I was here. Eventually I came up with the container at the waypoint after the second search of the spot this morning after searching here the two other times as well.
The second problem came with the fact that the GPS wasn't with us and back at the car so had to try and get the tablet to give me a coordinate reading so I could work out where to get to GZ with the tool. The tablet is very hard to read in the sun and the program that gave me a coordinate reading couldn't be expanded to make the tiny writing visible.
Eventually we got a viable GZ after walking around a bit the Better Half found the cache with the tool.
Log signed and cache replaced as found and then the tool replaced back at the waypoint.
Thanks firnsy for an enjoyable morning in Manning Park again.
Once back at the car we all admired the bride and groom who were having pictures taken on the grass towards the lake.
