Description
A cache somewhere along the pipeline in Davidson. You can access the pipeline periodically as it heads through suburbia and then off into the bush.
The Pipeline Way is a pleasant walk from John Oxley Drive, Davidson to Hunter Avenue in St Ives. The walk follows the pipeline down into the valley and crosses Middle Harbour Creek before climbing out of the valley to St Ives. Details here http://www.wildwalks.com/bushwalking-and-hiking-in-nsw/garigal-national-park/the-pipeline-way.html
The cache is hidden somewhere along there! You might find it if you crawl all over and under the large pipe for a kilometre or so. Otherwise, solve this puzzle

What a saga! I solved this one back during the Summer Scavenger Series but never required it for a points find so it fell off the radar for a while Now with the winter games rewarding Puzzle cache finds well I thought today would be the perfect day to chase it down. Had the day off work and the weather was great but when I tried to log on to my computer to get the co-ords the whole thing was mucking up. Ended up having to reinstall windows, then GSAK, then realised all my solved cache co-ords were now gone Stabby Fortunately I remembered the puzzle and had new numbers pretty quickly. Out to Davidson in the afternoon armed with 3 sets of Blossom* codes and walked away a little while later with 3 finds. This one took me longer than perhaps it should have, getting covered in pine needles peeeking in all the possible hides... its a very long pipe! Co-ords turned out to be all good in the end and the cache is safe and well. A puzzle right up my alley! Cheers Blossom*!

Took a little while to get the letters deciphered. Full of confidence, I was surprised to get denied by the checker. After figuring out that there's more than one way to a solution, I had my coords confirmed. Final of 4 finds around Davidson today. Spiders had replaced cammo but they were nowhere to be seen. Thanks for all these new caches blossom*

I was intending to leave this for Zal, as he had the clue to the puzzle, but time waits for none and it has been sitting there for over a month now. Actually, I didn't understand his clue at all, but the fact that it was his was enough. There was something familiar about those letters but I couldn't put my finger on it, until I could. Stopped off on the weekly coastal trip and commenced to search the km of pipe, but only needed to check a couple of metres. Spiders had added quite a bit of cover on the past couple of weeks and sadly, I had to undo their good work. Signed in the reserved *FTF* spot and returned, sans-web. Thanks again blossom*
