Alice trip 2017. Day 24. Today Sol de Lune, Luckyl10n, Fitzy_1965 and I spent the morning caching around Mt Isa then started driving east, visiting Cloncurry and Winton. The information was gathered the previous day and today we went and collected the caches for these three puzzles.

Thanks

Geocaching Australia (GCA) Cache Find Number 1456. Found during Day 16 of my epic 21 day visit to Alice Springs for the Red Centre Experience Event and further travels after that.

Flew into Alice Springs and met up with my fellow intrepid team members Sol de Lune, Albida33 and LuckyL10n for the start of an amazing trip throughout the Northern Territory, Queensland, New South Wales and eventually back to Canberra. The Red Centre Experience is the main attraction of course, but also on our agenda are a lot of GC Caches, lots of trigs, as well as plenty of GCA Trads, History and Virtual Caches (and maybe the odd beer or two ??!! Smile. Go Clan Cerberus !

Here in Mt Isa - Having a chance at 3 GCA Puzzles was too good to miss so after some fun gathering the required info 3 GZs were calculated and visited. A fun series of caches !

#GA1587 - 08:35; Day 26 of the Alice Mega Road Trip with Sol de lune, albida33 and fitzy_1965. After our first night in Queensland, it was time to add to our cache finds around Mt Isa, before heading to Mary Kathleen, Cloncurry, McKinley and on to Winton for the night. This was our first stop for the day after gathering the required information and solving the puzzle the previous evening. After making the find took advantage of the location to take in some of the views. TFTC MalDawg Very HappyClan Cerberus

Next of the Rodeo series and after researching our photo's we set about sorting the numbers.....however our GZ did not look good, and after checking the formula, we noticed a slight error with the east minutes. We then tried a more obvious number which look good on the map...and once at GZ, the cache was soon made. Great views from GZ....

Thanks MalDawg.....another neat cache.....just might need to check the '3' in the east co-ords.

Travelling with Tassie Trekkers as we are on our way to the Alice Spring geocaching event. Staying overnight in Mt Isa so we decided to do some caching whilst here. We did the necessary groundwork and came up with a set of coordinates. Once at Gz the cache was located. Log sheet signed as joint **FTF**. Clan Minotaur

Staying in Mt Isa overnight as we continue our journey to Alice Springs.

Took a walk around the streets with Gullivers Travels54 and found the required info to complete this cache. Once at GZ made a quick find.

Had to change a number to make this one work.

As the log book was blank we will claim Joint [*FTF*]

Thanks MalDawg
