Logs
When we found this cache we had intended to take it back to the little island with us but it was too big and too musty smelling. The latter may have attracted the attention of a quarantine sniffer dog at the airport. It would have been tragic for it to end its travels in a quarantine bin at Hobart airport so we decided to leave it in WA.
We had come to this reserve to find GCDA73 and noticed that this moveable had been hidden here in 2017. Mrs Y'stassie decided to look for it. She worked out that the Richard Fox Nature walk would probably pass close to this hide. So off she went.
She enjoyed the many different flowers blooming beside the track. She was 35m from the published coordinates when she spotted an object consistent with the one mentioned in the hint. She carefully excavated the centre but turned up empty handed. Looking round she failed to spot any other suitable spot so headed back for a second search. Still no cache. Having already failed to find 2 GA caches she was resigned to this one being another dead marine. She turned to leave and spotted a grey container lying at the base of a very large tree. She clambered down and yes it was the moveable.
We'll give it a clean up before setting it free again.

Enjoying the south-west. Imagine what you can see from atop the tall tree?

Discovered 'Can you see the River with Binoculars' at the Moveable & Mystery Madness Event held in Whiteman Park. The forecast was for rain but we were blessed with good weather for the day. A small but dedicated group of geocachers and a couple of new faces attended and exchanged stories of caches found and missed. Many thanks Splitty Miller JJCC for the cache.

Attended the very enjoyable GCA Moveable & Mystery Madness event (GA10647) in Whiteman Park today with Chwiliwr and Gwawr. We found this cache with all the other moveable caches that were brought to the event by the various GCA cachers in attendence. There were also a couple found not actually at the event.
Thanks for the cache.

Found this one at the event today. A very welcome find, thanks for dropping him here . Left for someone else to move along.
Nothing to be found there. Since I was nearby, well Medlow Bath, I thought it might be worth a try to take the train to Faulconbridge instead of returning to Lithgow, however it was in vain one of the terrible 'twin' got there first.

Grabbed this new moveable for the scavenger series on the way home from doing a late night multi nearby. Luckily a nice easy find by torchlight. Will move on shortly.
