Description

Placed for the 2016/2017 Summer Scavernger Series Games

The cache is not at the posted co ordinates but not that far away either. You are seeking a cammo black small sized container.  Ii had to seek help from Inspector Morse to put this one together. If you are stuck then a good place to start would be www.geocchingtoolbox.com.  good luck.

Found on a sunny Winter day for a drive around at Nanango.
Many good safe hides and not many muggles around today.
Cache condition was bad. Log was sodden and black.
All cleaned up now and new log in place. Wink
Thanks for the cache,
Roostaman

#GA3531 - 15:34; Day 2 of the South East Queensland tour with Sol de lune. Made it to Nanango late yesterday after getting belted by a storm later in the afternoon/early evening. Much to our relief the heavy rain seems to be moving on and it is only overcast and occasional light drizzle this morning. Spending today caching around Nanango and Kingaroy and hoping to clear a swag of GCA puzzles from the 'solved but unfound' list we have been compiling for the past couple of years. We were now underway and enjoying a variety of cache types and hides, some taking longer than other to make the find amongst the long grasses and having to make the right choice from the variety of possibilities available. Also enjoyed solving the puzzles, even though there was plenty of head scratching and later on forehead slapping along the way! Apologies for the generic logs. A quick change of direction and we were soon on the road for this one. Parked adjacent the GZ and took the walk to GZ. Cache was found without issue but was rather wet...however there was no problem with the log which is nice and dry. Once signed, the cache was replaced and recovered with dry camo. Another fun puzzle and neat cache to find. Always fun to locate in a new area.

Thanks again Youngoldfella....having a great afternoon checking out the area.

Staying longer than initially planned as the GeoCruiser is at the Toyota Doctors. Brick Wall

Today we headed out on the GeoBikes to explore the area. Managed to find a good number of quality caches both GC and GCA.

After arriving back to the van on the bikes, Mr Felix headed out to attempt some of the puzzles we had solved that were still awaiting a FTF. This one was on the way so he stopped here too. Laughing WELL Scavenge for a small one it was! A spider web attacked him and fending off the web it grabbed his power tank pen and tried to hide it some 5m away!!!! Brick WallWhistle So yet more searching as he wasnt leaving that behind.

Pen found LOG now signed and on the way home!

Thankyou for the relatively easy puzzle.
Some lovely yellow wildflowers near GZ today. The cache had a bit of water in it but the zip-lock was sealed well and log was nice and dry.
Happy to claim FTF on this cache. We had fun a day. Very Happy
Thanks for the puzzle and cache Youngoldfella.
