#GA3523 - 14:30; Day 2 of the South East Queensland tour with Sol de lune. Made it to Nanango late yesterday after getting belted by a storm later in the afternoon/early evening. Much to our relief the heavy rain seems to be moving on and it is only overcast and occasional light drizzle this morning. Spending today caching around Nanango and Kingaroy and hoping to clear a swag of GCA puzzles from the 'solved but unfound' list we have been compiling for the past couple of years. We were now underway and enjoying a variety of cache types and hides, some taking longer than other to make the find amongst the long grasses and having to make the right choice from the variety of possibilities available. Also enjoyed solving the puzzles, even though there was plenty of head scratching and later on forehead slapping along the way! After a spot of lunch in Kingaroy, this was our next stop. It took a bit of work to make the find as evidenced by the red mud on our hands, but make it we did! TFTC youngoldfella

2nd day of a 5 day trip around south-east Queensland with LuckyL10n and today we were in Nanango to grab a few more of the local offerings. All up my 3rd trip to this area, but there are few cachers to grab. We encountered wild weather in Brisbane yesterday, however today started with very little rain and no wind...thankfully.

A solve that took patience... of course time. All work out ok as the geochecker liked what we came up with. As for the find, we pulled up close to GZ and once we started the search it wasn't long and the cache was in hand. Log was signed, cache replaced and we were then off to the next one.

Thanks for the cache Youngoldfella. Cache all good.

Heading on over to Kingaroy to collect the GeoCruiser. Decided to give it a test run on the way back to Nanango so stopped here with the engine running. It was almost 6pm and time getting away from us.

Sadly unable to locate the cache and had to keep heading back to Nanango.

Another beaut series of puzzles to solve here. Had us thinking for a while.
Always pleasing when coordinates materialise. The coords were a little out for us but we spread out and soon found the cache. All good.
