Description

Spring Beach is a great spot to have a swim and enjoy the water views into Porto Bay and Cowan Creek on your way to or from the other caches up the hill.

Little Wobby is a boat-access only township which was established in WWII to support artillery batteries set up to prevent the Japanese entering Broken Bay. It can be reached by public ferry from Brooklyn. Once there, wind your way along the waterfront and past the various houses (public access allowed although it feels strange!), then along the road to Spring Beach where you'll find an access track down to the beach on the right.

The terrain rating is a little higher only due to the access requirement of the ferry (or your own boat)

Let's get it right, I was told to get to Hornsby station not asked!
But it seemed like a lovely train/ferry/walk. It felt quite weird to walk in and out of peoples property, still we got to the little beach and made a quick find.
This is a very nice place worth coming back for a swim in summer.
Unfortunately the next cache was no walk in the park and I was dragged up the hill.
Thank you for this cache at least, still not sure about the rest of the day. SmileRolling Eyes

First of what should have been 4 caches.
I managed to get my young friend to get out of bed and meet me at Hornsby to get some walking in. How hard can it be there is a track all the way, famous last words!
This one is very easy to get to even if you feel quite weird leaving the ferry and walking around and under peoples houses, however it is OK as this is the public access track.
Lovely walk to the beach and an easy find was made, Unfound for 6 months, but now logged.
Thanks for the cache and the ferry trip blossom*.
