Description
A large cache in a bush setting, that's old school caching.....!
Are you sick of mint tins and/or nano buttons hidden around the city, then this may be the cache you are looking for! In fact if you are reading this description this is the cache you are looking for!
This mystery cache IS NOT at the posted coordinates. To find GZ, you will need to find some 'missing' information about some old schools in the ACT.
The first school in what is now the ACT operated at Ginninderra from 1ABB to 1ABA. A second school was opened in the 1ABCs at St John the Baptist Church located on the Duntroon Estate within the modern day suburb of Reid. It was the only school in the Canberra region, after the closure of the Ginninderra school until the opening of a state run school at Acton in 1AAC. Mulligan's Flat School opened in 1ADE and operated until 1DFG when it was demolished. The remains can still be seen near Gungahlin.
Once you know the answers, you'll be able to solve this puzzle and find GZ at S35 10.(A-G)D(F-G) E149 08.(E+F)C(B+G-F).
Don't forget to use the 'Check Coords' button to confirm your answer.
Now be sure not to find yourself in the naughty corner!

Thanks,
thanks for the cache
More local history....always enjoy reading more about our part of the world. Actually took a few minute to find the info, but I knew it had to be there somewhere....and finally all was revealed. After another walk through the area, GZ was reached and the cache was in hand. Log signed and it was time to find my own spot out here before heading back to the car.
Thanks LL.....good to be back out this way again.
