Description
Yagan Memorial Park
Yagan, a nephew of Yellagongo and son of Midgigeroo, leader of the Aboriginal population on the south side of the Swan River, outlawed afer allegedly killing a whiteman. Yagan's story is recorded by many and, after years of controversy, a bronze statue of him was erected on a hill overlooking Perth city, on the southern side of Herrison Island on September 11, 1984.
Yagan was born circa 1795 and died sometime in July 1833. He was a Noongar leader and resistance fighter during the early years of the Swan River Colony. In the conflict that ensued, Yagan was both feared and admired by Europeans as a patriot fighting for his land. In today’s Noongar community, Yagan remains a significant and legendary figure, a symbol of resistance to European colonization of country and culture.
On the 1st of September 1997, a delegation of Elders brought Yagan’s head, or ‘kaat’, back to Noongar country, 177 years after his death, Yagan’s kaat was reburied in this Memorial Park in the Swan Valley. http://www.noongarculture.org.au/yagan/

Logs
Like others I also initially found 2 more grass trees and had the final in the carpark.
After reading the prior logs I reduced my count by 2 and soon had the cache in hand. TFTC.
A good little stop for a quick find. Thanks for the cache!
Had trouble with the maths as there are two more balga trees found than what should be used in the maths.
Thanks for the cache.
That was a fun multi, I enjoyed looking at all the boards and counting the various other. I actually counted 2 more balga trees, but it didn't take me too long to track down the cache with a bit of cacher intuition.
Thanks for the cache iluvtrekking!
