Description
Keep on Trucking
When you drive the highways of Australia you will see plenty of Big Macks and I'm not talking about the golden arches.
At another time in my life I drove Mack Trucks for work and they hold a special place in my heart. The company started life in 1900 and made its first truck in 1907. Mack trucks have been sold in 45 countries and they held the heavy rigid spot in the Australian Defence Force fleet for many years. Although an American company they are now a subsidiary of Volvo and partly owned by Renault which is ironic for us as our geo-mobile is a renault and nothing like a mack truck.
I hope you enjoy this spot - take a selfie with Mack and post it with your log.

Coordinates updated to reflect Sol de Lune's log - thank you for the heads up and apologies for the error. Glad it didnt stop you from finding the cache.
#GA1540 - 11:55; Day 20 of the Alice Mega Road Trip with Sol de lune, albida33 and fitzy_1965. We had now reached Darwin and after a good night's sleep in a bed for the first time in a week or so, we headed out towards Palmerston caching along the way there and back again. Stopped off to collect this cache on our travels. This one took a bit of work, but after referring to the description and the hint, we gave it our best shot and produced the goods for a joint *FTF* some way from the posted coords, but in the logical place. Alice trip 2017. Day 18. Today Sol de Lune, Luckyl10n, Fitzy_1965 and I spent the day caching in and around Darwin. For a southerner it was a hot sticky day. At least it did not rain. As we could not get to the listed co-ordinates we searched via the hint and came up with a find. Thanks for sorting this out for future finders.

Geocaching Australia (GCA) Cache Find Number 1409. Found during Day 10 of my epic 21 day visit to Alice Springs for the Red Centre Experience Event and further travels after that.
Flew into Alice Springs and met up with my fellow intrepid team members Sol de Lune, Albida33 and LuckyL10n for the start of an amazing trip throughout the Northern Territory, Queensland, New South Wales and eventually back to Canberra. The Red Centre Experience is the main attraction of course, but also on our agenda are a lot of GC Caches, lots of trigs, as well as plenty of GCA Trads, History and Virtual Caches (and maybe the odd beer or two ??!! Smile. Go Clan Cerberus !
Another Trad for the trip while in the north. We stopped here to look around and grab some caches. Lots of piccies taken. Then it was back in the car and off to the next one !
Another great location visited during our journey. And another GCA FTF !!

Out and about on day 2 of our Darwin stay and this was our next stop. Arrived at front of the complex only to find GZ was another 140 odd metres into the complex itself. Read the listing and read the hint, and thought the cache would be around the area we were in, and after a short search, the nicely hidden cache was in. So in the end all was good.
As for the co-ords, I think these ones might be closer to the actual location CanberraTrekker.....S12 26.256 E130 55.410
Thanks CT...always neat to grab a first to find.
