The number π is a mathematical constant, the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter, commonly approximated as 3.14159. It has been represented by the Greek letter "π" since the mid-18th century, though it is also sometimes spelled out as "pi"
The decimal representation of π never ends and never settles into a permanent repeating pattern. According to wikipedia, the current world record (obtained on 11 November 2016) had π recorded at 22,459,157,718,361 digits and it took 28 hours to verify.

I like pie! Set out to get some of the GA's in the area, with much help from the CO's. Is that a surprise to anyone?!

Have managed a few Pi caches over the years but we need a little help with this one. Great to say that help helped, and today we were rewarded with making the find while heading around the area.
Thanks for another one TeamMerlin....

#GA2303 - 15:35; When the States of the Nation game began, a plan was hatched for a group of ACT cachers to take a trip north to the Hawkesbury on a scavenger raid. As time passed the group's numbers dwindled, but with a bit of work solving puzzles and a few things rescheduled, our merry band comprising andrewbt, Sol de lune and I set off on a damp Canberra morning to try our hand. A recent visit to Canberra by cachers from this area provided an added incentive, so we could repay the karma points we gained from their visit. A successful day it turned out to be with 56 finds and only three DNFs. I have found a few Pi related caches closer to home and was happy to collect this one today. TFTC teamMerlin

Not an easy puzzle for Pi! I didn't know what I had to do for this and was lucky enough to get some advice from lucky1955 (yes, fate obviously took a hand here ) as to where to look for the right decipher thingy. Ohhh. I didn't know about places to look for some of the devious puzzles people dream up but I'll keep that in mind for the future.
So having solved the puzzle after some fiddling, and confirmed the co-ords, I took another 6am drive out west to chase some scavenger points and found the cache in a lovely spot. It's so peaceful and there are a multitude of hiding spots all around so it's a lovely morning out.
Thanks teamMerlin, although something a bit easier is always welcome!!

Working out this mystrey took a little bit of assistance but once on the right sign of PI the information and coordinates were determined.
Today had a change to pick up a few local caches in the extremely hot day.
Nice hide.

After struggling with the puzzle side of things I took a tip from the CO. Following the right decipher tool I finally had a set of coordinates that were ok according to the checker.
Tonight after tea and the heat of the day I ventured out to GZ. At 7.20pm I signed as *FTF* on a pristine log. tftc
