I went for a walk with Black Bunny in the freezing cold and found a few caches.
Thanks, Goldenwattle!
Thanks, Goldenwattle!
Out with Just a cacher for a cache maintenance run and we decided to grab a cache or two while we were out and about.
A quick find here today although the GPS had us out by about 9m.
Thanks for the cache Goldenwattle.

I checked on this cache finally, now the road has been reopened. The burnt forest could be seen beyond, but it didn't get to this cache, so the cache is okay and still here to be found.
Found with Goldenwattle, the CO.
about time I logged this as I was here laying this one.

The road on the Canberra side of this cache was blocked today; closed 700 metres before this cache. It's because of Covid-19. I was going to check if this cache survived the bushfire. That will need to wait now.

On the way home from the Oororall valley event I stopped for several caches and was happy to visit this cache with success.

Picked up today on our way out to Honeysuckle Creek for the CITO. Found in good condition - thanks again GW
Popped out here this evening, once it had cooled down a bit. No muggles, no traffic just lots if crickets and birdsong. Perfect. Cache found easily and now I know where the Australian Alps walking track starts! TFTC
This is a nice area. We are just passing through as we make our way north to Qld.
Thanks for the cache. It's in good nick. Think this cache will come in handy for the current summer game.
Thanks Goldenwattle.

Doing my bit for my Cycling Club requires helping run races.
And this time (and fortunately for my (currently) fat butt), it involved a race from Tharwa, to Apollo Road, and Back, then to the Honeysuckle Campground.
Being that I was helping and not racing, it meant I got to stand around a bit and wait for people finish racing.
While I was waiting, I realised I should check my Nearby GCA Caches. Bingo. 3 of them.
So after the race, I headed to the start of the AAWT and went looking for the first two caches. The SPOR was easily spotted and cache signed accordingly
TFTC GW!

#GA2187 - 14:15; After collecting a few GC caches, including the remainder of the Majura Parkway series, I still needed a GCA find to fill another hole in the dZ calendar. It was a nice day, so I decided to head south to Tharwa and collect a cache near this one. On arrival, I saw this one was closer, so I grabbed it instead and left the other for another day when I need a drive in the country. TFTC Goldenwattle

A nice easy cache. I found this one while I was waiting for my GPS to acquire satellites. Then I went looking for another traditional cache but found a moveable that was not shown in the area. Confused, I went home to check the logs. I'll be back. TFTC
PS be sure to check out the slab hut display in the visitor centre grounds just across the road from this one.

Been in Canberra for a while now, and I finally got my butt into gear enough to get down here.
Drive in was nice, great views. Info centre is pretty cool too. Found the cache quickly without any trouble, but couldn't walk any further as I had other things to do today.
I will come back down South again some time! TFTC

A nice easy start to a hard days caching. Darkside Dan accompanied me up the Mount (the hard way) 11.3km round trip and was back in the car at 6pm. Thanks for the cache, Goldenwattle.

Out this side of town and decided to head out a bit further to grab this one. Have walked up this path many times, but good to back to this time find a GCA cache.
No problems and the cache was soon in hand.
Thanks GW.....a good start for anyone heading up along the trail.
