Description

Cache is not a the posted co-ords...but they would be a good place to park.

As you walk to GZ, you'll notice the small brick buildings over to the left, which at some time in the years gone by, would probably have housed ammo of some description.    This has absolutely nothing to do with the puzzle, just thought I'd add it in case you were wondering what the buildings may have been used for.

As for the puzzle, well, simply convert the following to reveal the GZ:...and use the co-ords checker to be sure to be sure....

BAAABABBABBAABBBAABAAABBB BAABAAABBBABAAABAAAABAABABABBA AABABABAAABAABBAABAA BAABABABAAAABAAABBAABAABABABBA ABBABABBAAAABAA ABBBAABBABABAAAABBAABAABA AABABABAAABAABBAABAA AABBBBAABBABBAAAAABBBAAAAAABAAAAABB AAAAAABBAAAAABB AABABABBABBAAAABAABABABBA AABAAABAAAAABBAAABBBBAABA AABAAAAAAABAAABBAABA ABBABABBAAAABAA AABBBBAABBABBAAAAABBBAAAAAABAAAAABB AABABABBABBAAAABAABABABBA ABBAAABAAAABBAAAABAA ABBBAABBABABAAAABBAABAABA BABBBAABAABAAAAABBAB BAAABAABAABAABBAABAAABBAA ABBAAABAAAABBAAAABAA AABBBBAABBABBAAAAABBBAAAAAABAAAAABB AAAAAABBAAAAABB BAAABAABAABAABBAABAAABBAABAABABABBA AABABABAAABAABBAABAA

Once at GZ, just watch out for the Blackberries.....

Logs

The group caching continued with a trip to Calum Brae, the southern section. There was quite a crowd. We visited several caches along the way. I was happy that I had already worked out for solutions for all the puzzles we went for. That left a multi and a fun walk all the way to the back of the reserve for a few traditional caches. There were even GA caches to get along the way.

Out with some of the locals to target an epic climb. Thought we would grab these neat little GCAs whilst we were here!!!!

This week I used my Research tasks to motivate me. Yesterday I went for 5 trigs and I was hoping to get 4 multis but after 3 finds and 3 couldn't go for them - 2 Nature Reserves closed and 1 had workmen at GZ,I went out again today to get another multi and this was it. Thanks for the great history lesson - I didn't know we had such things here. I am continually amazed by what others find and thank goodness they then share. Thanks SDL not only for the cache but for bringing me to such a cache rich little area. Unfortunately just like Pacmania before me, I found the cache open and the contents strewn around. No plastic bags so the pages are a bit worse for wear. TNLN SL TFTC ClappingClapping

Code looked familiar, so quickly found the way of solving it. Wandered over to find the container out in the open with lots of water inside. Log was in 3 bags, but luckily the innermost bag did the trick and the log was OK.

Thanks,

Found on a walk with Goldenwattle. TFTC.

Thanks to the hint, I had no trouble working this out. One of four caches (3xGA & 1xGC) found today with Decrypter (6 caches for him) during a walk in Callum Brae, on this, the shortest day of the year. Lovely sunny day though. TFTC Sol de lune.

Found with Kittykatch & CBRChic on a very pleasant Saturday afternoon stroll in Callum Brae. Facinating site. I had no idea it was here.

Out and about caching with Tassie Trekkers in the Callum Brae Reserve. An interesting area to wander around. Puzzle was solved prior to arriving on the big isle so nice to be able to now get the smiley. Unfortunately the cache container was full of water and the log book was soaking wet. We managed to sign the log and emptied the water out but we didn't have any spare stuff with us. TFTP

Headed out this way today to check the cache.

The container has certainly held some water, and some it is still there, somehow under the lining of cache interior. Doesn't sound good as it sloshes around, but its a not a problem for the log. I've cleaned the container up, placed the log inside 3 plastic baggies, so I think all should be good.

Cache on.....

Getting there was the easy bit. Finding cache and signing log was easy too. But that walk in the sun back up to the car - phew! Not far but due to the extreme heat today I was huffing and puffing like an old steam train. Must keep caching and get my fitness back!!! TFTC Smile

Oh dear.... this is in dire need of some maintenence. I opened it to find a flood rush out including some cache grown seaweed.....ewwwww.........thank goodness the log book has somehow survived. I tried to dry it out but the water just kept coming. It's trapped somewhere.
The blackberry is dead so no problem there. Please save the cache.

fitzy picked me up for a lunchtime run in a now familiar area. Love the short walks for these big cache finds. The area is closed for construction so you have to be stealthy at the moment !

Thanks SDL !!

GCA 1591. Found during a quick lunchtime run with minniek.

Had a few to make up for for the Xmas in July game so out we came to grab a couple of puzzle caches and some moveables. Managed to solve the puzzle and after a quick walk in (shhhh - we shouldn't have been here due to the construction work) the cache was in hand.

TFTC !! I remember this area from a few caches in the past.

A quick walk, easy enough. TFTC SDL

Found on an evening geocaching run with Sol de Lune after I got back from Geelong (very tired by the end of it all)! Ah yes, I've done a puzzle like this before - this made it all to easy, once again! After a short walk from the previous cache, this one was found immediately at GZ - except it took a while to open and close, all at the amusement of the CO! TNLNSL. TFTC SdL! Clan Cerberus

my first adventure out since being stricken by man flu. Maybe I should have picked a cooler day. At least it wasn't too far and only got jagged a little. How many more tool boxes are our there? Clan Cerberus

#GA1207 - 17:55; Decided to head out on a Summer Scavenge Soiree this afternoon and after a quick first up find northside, I headed south. After a tour of Red Hill, it was off to Mugga Lane to complete the mission. This was my last stop for the day, having collected another in the area, along with a bonus GC cache. Mission completed, it was off home for me. TFTC Sol de lune Very HappyClan Cerberus

Found today on another SSH cache run. Lovely to get out in Callum Brae again and managed to avoid the dreaded blackberries. Thanks for the puzzle and the cache Sol. All in good condition.

With some spare time this afternoon Jac and I decided to grab a few of the new caches which have appeared lately. We made our way to GZ (unintentionally) collecting some grass seeds and made a quick find under the watchful gaze of some roos.

Thanks for another cache Sol de lune.

Quick afternoon find with Black Bunny. Still too hot for me.
Too many grass seeds around. I'm glad we didn't take the dogs today, or I'd be plucking for days.
Thanks, Sol!
