Description
The Straining Post
A container size of other? I hate those. It generally means a nano or mico or something else that the geocache owner is to embarassed to own up to or is used to bypass the "exclude micros" in my GPX queries. Well this one is no different. It's a nano or a micro but not done to bypass the micro exclusion rule, but to meet the scavenge requrement for the [SSS] game. Take the time to walk the Western Freeway Trail to find this and other geocaches in the [SSS] series.
The geocache you seek is a container not large enough for any swaps, only just large enough for a log and was hidden for the Summer Scavenger Series 2016 to meet the container 'other' size requirement scavenge.

Last find for the evening, and I checked the PTV app and realised I could catch a sprinter to the city from nearby, just in time to catch up with the family during White Night.
I decided to continue exploring the western bike trails... this time the Western Freeway was my target, so I caught the train to Sunshine to ride the last section of the Kororoit Creek before continuing westward.
A fine evening, and a mostly successful hunt (apart from a couple of fruitless scrambles in the bushes), and edging closer to the 10% target I want to maintain.
Thanks, C@W.

#GA1848 - 09:34; Day two of a caching mission to Victoria with Sol de lune. Our major goal for the week is to complete the SSS and other series along the Western Freeway/Ring Road and to then collect enough GCA caches around Docklands to bring our total finds for the day to 100+ which would build our trophy cabinets a bit more as we complete a few more 'missions'. This was one of 82 finds in just under 6 hours along the various series, where we only had the one DNF! Apologies for the mostly generic logs. TFTC caughtatwork

Off and running along the path and it was simply a matter of riding, stopping, finding the cache, signing the log, replacing the cache and then moving on to the next one. No problems here thanks to the colour and we were soon on our way again.
Thanks for another one C@W....

We had arrived in Melbourne early to catch the Spirit of Tasmania back to Tassie tonight. That gave us the opportunity to look for more caches along the Western Ring Path, ones that we didn't find in April because we ran out of time. We were pleased that the rain of yesterday had gone and, apart from a cold breeze, the walking conditions were very pleasant. Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. the cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks caughtatwork for the cache and the series.
