I was on my 4 days off and decided to head out to Whiteman park to clean up a few caches today. I spent a few weeks solving the C series and some of the P and W series. It was fun solving several of the puzzles in particular the jigsaws. I love solving jigsaw puzzles. As yet i have not solved all of them as i need some help with some of them. I printed off the Whiteman Park map and plotted all the coordinates into my phone on cgeo and then roughly plotted them on the map. This then gave me the opportunity to work out where to park and what caches to get from each parking spot.

I parked at a few different locations and did large loop walks collecting caches one of which was quite large due to the Keith Maine Centre being closed. I spent about 6 and a half hours walking and logging caches in the heat which was quite draining today. Luckily i had plenty of water and fruit to keep me going. The easterly breeze offered some respite from the heat but more so in the shade. All up i walked 10+km's which i did enjoy and only saw 6 kangaroos and one bobtail lizard.
All up i found 30 of the 31 solved caches in the series.
This cache was a very quick find and just as quick signing the log as a large truck came past and created a massive dust cloud so i wanted to get away from the dust.
Thanks for the 3 great series Chwiliwr, Gwiber, TBH and Gwar. ClappingClapping

After all of the clues in the logs below, Wink I was able to figure out the details and make a fairly quick solve here. States of the Nation gave me a bit of a hoosle-up to solve some more of these series!

Once at GZ, had to have a bit of a scratch around, but found without too much trouble.

Headed out after the event with Lazarus to pick up a few of the mystery caches we had solved. We managed to get a few crossed off the list but left others for another day. There was one where we had the incorrect coordinates, so will have to go back to the drawing board on that one, and we still have some awaiting that moment where it all clicks together. All the finds were made fairly quickly. Many thanks for the caches.

Solved this one some time ago, but waited until after today's event to find & sign log.
Walked the trails hearing frequent buzzing coming from nearby Model Aircraft Club.
Thank you Chwiliwr, TBH, Gwiber & Gwawr for this stimulating series of mental challenge variety.
This is #4 of 27 in series found today. We must return to locate others we've solved.

This cache does not need maintaining as we decided to leave it as is as to make the images link correctly makes the puzzle harder.

Remember that it is a PUZZLE and as Chwiliwr has already indicated the images do not have to be present to solve the puzzle. In fact it makes the actual puzzle easier to find.

Perhaps those that said "check source" should do so themselves.

Unfortunately, this cache looks like maintenance maybe required.

To ensure future finders have an enjoyable experience in both finding the cache and visiting the area, a check on this cache is recommended.

If the cache still seems to require maintenance within 28 days, Geocaching Australia will archive the cache to stop it appearing on cachers lists / PQ's.

Whilst the broken images no longer appear and will eventually be fixed their lack of visibility is not any impediment to solving the puzzle. (When the images links do get fixed the puzzle will be harder than it is now to solve not easier.)

Out with the family doing the Whiteman Park puzzles and dodging the rain. Only got wet going back to the car after the last cache. Enjoyed the smell of the steam engine who passed us a few times on our various walks to the caches from where we had parked the car.

Log signed and cache returned as found.

Thank you for the puzzle and cache.

Took the family to Whiteman Park and did a few walks around the trails to do the puzzle caches. Managed to stay dry by sheltering when it looked like showers but got wet walking back to the car from the final cache. All caches were found OK and apart from one in good condition.

Log signed and cache returned as found.

Thank you for the puzzle and cache.

Could the links please be checked on this one ... don't appear to be working.

Woohoo!! FTF at 3:34pm!

Another afternoon, another nice walk in the park, albeit a little warm today. I solved this one this morning and was keen to come out and find it as soon as possible. I had to search for quite a long time at GZ before finally making the find.

Thanks for the cache Gwawr!
