Description

What is the difference between an archangel and an angel and how many are there?

Have you ever wondered what an Archangel is?  Have you every wondered what the difference is between an archangel and an ordinary angel?  Or how many there are?

If so, this may be the cache for you!

An archangel is an angel of high rank. Beings that are very similar to archangels are found in a number of religious traditions; but the word "archangel" itself is usually associated with the Abrahamic religions.

I thought this would be relatively easy, but depending on the flavour you favour, there are between one and eight angels which are regarded as archangels.  Your task is to confirm which one of the eight is the one that is generally accepted as being an archangel.  Convert the letters in that name to numbers and let those numbers be A, B, C, D, E, F, G.

This mystery cache IS NOT at the posted coordinates, but that is a good place to park.  You will find GZ at S35 G.F(C-E)(A-D) E149 (B+E).DF(D-E).

Check your coords and off you go!

With a big walk around Goorooyarroo canceled due to key players being on COVID isolation, I decided to target the caches in the reserve that were not on the general walk. I did the original VC series along the Gas pipe road soon before they were replaced by the CCT series. It has taken me this long to get enough motivation to get to the inner ones. It was a fine if chilly morning and I had a great walk.

On my back to the car I detoured past here to collect the remains of the cache for LuckyL10n as it has reached the end of its life.

Thanks for the cache

Whilst I was out caching after work, I had a look for this one. It looked like a very likely spot, with a few options, but I did not manage to turn up a cache.

Thanks

Found on a day of walking around the reserve with McPhan, the day starting out very foggy but clearing to one of those lovely sunny winter days that are so good in Canberra. Left some swag items since the cache looked a bit empty. Thanks LuckyL10n.

927. Found while out and about in the Roo. Winglens and I had a great day in the area mostly looking to train up a mite for the Toughest Challenge.

Took me longer than it should have to solve the puzzle because I think I double guessed myself. All good once I stopped doing that.

TFTC and the wings.

First of several mystery finds today in the Goo. Easily found, if a little hard to extract due to some additional sticks in the way!

After and a late afternoon enjoying the air-con at the movies, discovered this cache and set about checking the options. Only found one that matched the bill, so it was then just a matter of heading out to make the find. Still very hot, so was oh so glad when it was less than 300 to GZ from the car. Cache found without issue and the log was soon signed.

Thanks for another one LL..... Clan Cerberus
