Description

Cache is not at the posted co-ords....but parking nearby will be a great idea.

As you may know, I have the odd 1 or 20 caches in Callum Brae, but not one that talks about the reserve itself.    So to find the co-ords for this puzzle, simply answer a few questions about the Canberra Nature Reserve that is known as Callum Brae.   The cache can then be found at S35 21.AB3 E149 08.CD2.    Co-ords checker is enabled.

Callum Brae is a 199 hectare reserve.   If yes A = 3, if no A = 1

Callum Brae is located on the lower eastern slopes of Mount Mugga Mugga.   If yes B = 7, if no B = 0

Callum Brae provides an excellent bird habitat and is a refuge for threatened and declining woodland bird species including the dusky woodswallow.    If yes, C = 3, if no C = 9

Callum Brae welcomes dogs.   If yes, think again, if no D = 8

Have fun.....and enjoy another walk through the Brae

I needed an incentive to force me out of the house for some mild exercise, so I worked out a couple of caches in Callum Brae and took the short bike ride. The covering had slipped off this one leaving it exposed, but I added extra wood and propped up the covering, so hopefully this cover won't slip off. TFTC Sol de lune.

GCA 1579. Found after work today in on of my favourite places to walk and cache in.

I quite enjoy walking around this reserve. Today though it was quick dash in before the 5:00pm closure. Scared a bunch of Kangaroos (yes - you'd better run Skippy !!) and made a quick find at GZ. I could have used what should have been inside this container !

F(H)ound It! - @2:50pm

A nice easy puzzle and then a nice walk in the Brae on a POETS arvo.
Took me a couple of minutes to find even though its nice and large.
It was a bit difficult to get the log book out but with the aid of a stick and a bit of perseverance I soon had it.
All clean and neat and replaced. Thanks for the cache, Sol de Lune.

Last day of scavenging for a while. Was just me and the spiders this morning before the heat, though it was kind of muggy. Quite a natural looking fruit hanging from this tree.

Found on a very early morning GCA run before going to the movies on a hot summer day. After finding many different caches in Callum Brae, it was awesome to finally learn a bit of info about this lovely reserve. After an easy walk through a familiar area, the cache was in hand - all too easy! TFTC SdL! Clan Cerberus

#GA1217 - 13:05; I was out on a lunch time caching run and decided to stop by a familiar area to collect a couple of the newer caches there. I parked the geomobile in the usual place and headed off to make the first of two finds in the area. One down, I headed off for this one, again keeping my eyes peeled for serpents! Arrived at GZ and soon had an interesting container in hand. Extracting the log book took some work, but I got there in the end and was able to leave my mark.
