Description

This is a simple multi cache along a popular walking track

I wanted to place this cache on Sugarloaf Hill but, as that is part of the Lane Cove National Park, I opted for a spot not far away as the crow flies. The Great North Walk follows the bank of the Lane Cove River along here and it's a Lovey Walking Area and will put a Spring In Your Step!

At the listed co-ordinates, you will find a power pole with a number on it GL05ABC. Add (CB+1) to the southings and CA to the eastings to get GZ

I'd collected the numbers on a previous visit, but ran out of time. Today I had time, and with a break in the weather I ventured out for a short walk to GZ, where the cache was quickly located. Despite not having been found in 4 years, it was in excellent condition. And GZ made for an excellent shelter during a brief downpour. Thanks for the cache blossom*

First find on this cache in half a year! Nice hide. Left a Singaporean Merlion. TN SL TFTC

I had started off with this one, expecting a simple find. Well this was a case of cache blindness. No problems with the calculations at wpt 1 and off to GZ. Well I looked and looked and looked and found an awesome cave to crawl into. Nada, not even one iota of anything that resembled a regular sized cache and such a great hidey hole too. So I resolved to log a DNF. I went off on my walk, found myself a few other caches and on my return decided to check that awesome cave one more time. So I crawled in again. Nothing. I then thought I better think like blossom*. Would blossom* be crawling around in a cave..... so I checked one last spot that I briefly glanced at before. Nope nothing..... better take a better look, let me just shift that one last piece of camo...... don't be lazy......... well there was the cache........ cache blindness.... I had cache blindness. Over thinking a hide. Great feature by the way. Thanks for another wonderful cache.

Another one for the Summer Scavenge Series. Nice little walk in here ducking under the low hanging trees, you need to concentrate on this boardwalk! Many lizards around as well, once at GZ made a nice quick find. Thanks blossom*

Another new crop of Blossom caches dragged me out in the rain to score more points for the summer scavenger series which is rapidly approaching its conclusion. Great track through here and dropped off some moving caches along the way. Loved GZ! Cheers Blossom!

After hunting down caches in yesterday's 44ยบ, this morning's wander in the shade by the river, with an occasional breeze, was paradise. I was keeping an eye out for the brush turkeys, to guide me onto the cache, but they must've been asleep. I was glad of the clue because the Garmin overshot a bit so I returned to the awesome feature here. Opened the book up and was surprised to be *FTF* here after 4 days. Thanks blossom*.
