Description

The cache is NOT at the listed co-ordinates but a very simple puzzle will reveal its location

As this is a large container, I thought it would be nice to use as a book swap and have included 2 paperbacks to get it started. Please bring a book you've enjoyed to leave in the cache.

As you go along the Great North Walk, you will feel a Spring In Your Step becasue its a Lovely Walking Area and fairly Near Sugarloaf Hill. But all that is only a distraction!

To find the cache, add AB to the southings and CD to the eastings of the listed co-ordinates. There is a co-ord checker on this web page (over on the right) to make sure you get it right. GZ is only 3 metres off the track (uphill side) but you will find the gps can be out by 10 metres in this area so I have included a spoiler photo in the gallery

A nice big cache, unfortunately just a little too narrow for the book I brought (recipes for making cookies for your dog). SL. TNLN TFTC.

This one took me quite some time to crack. Eventually solved some time ago but didn't get a chance to collect for the last games.
Out to grab some more high value scavenges this morning. Enjoyed revisiting this neck of the woods.

The last two logs gave me a good laugh, as I couldn't believe that the puzzle king was out puzzled..... albeit for a small nano second. I must think like blossom* because I had this solved in 2 minutes flat. I saw what I needed and bam.... coords correct! Must be the female brain.... wired the same way.
This is a wonderful walking area and GZ did not disappoint. I went on a leisurely walk and soon GZ appeared. I had no problems with reception and walked right up to the cache. No looking required. The cache is well hidden in a spot that no muggle should feel the need to investigate. I had no books to leave but the ones there look like a good read. Thanks for a great puzzle and a fantastic GZ.

Despite having seen this type of puzzle before and recently I tried many permutations of numbers trying to get into the mind of Blossom. Eventually I needed a prod and the lightbulb of a memory flickered instantly on and I went to the charity box. This was because a beloved old book I was about to donate was there and I thought it could better go here. Walking along the river is lovely and as the heavy rain just stopped I had it to myself. Dropped off "The Complete Adventures of Charlie and Mr Willy Wonka" as 2TF and headed off towards the next cache. Cheers Blossom!

These "very simple puzzles" can be so frustrating when there are so many options to choose from. "What was she thinking?" I remarked silently several times. Anyways by hook or by crook, I got there and found the neatly hidden, rather large box on a pleasant morning walk today, before the heat had set in. *FTF* again too. I forgot to bring a book but did take a trinket. Thanks again blossom*.
