Took a day off work to reset the mind and got out and about. Found with much help from the CO
A bit of a scramble to find this one as for some reason our GPS has been off today, not exactly helpful. But once we walked around in circles for a while we just started to look for obvious spots. Places that I would hide a find..... there it was. Thanks to outdoornut22 for the brain work on this one. A good hide.

Out to find a few caches we had on our list for a while. In between storms and showers we ducked out to have a look for this one. The GPS was being a pain today and got us to the area but was no cache to be seen. Soph had a good scout around all the obvious spots nearby and soon enough she called out ‘found it’ thank goodness. Lovely spot and cache is still in great condition. Thanks

#GA2304 - 15:45; When the States of the Nation game began, a plan was hatched for a group of ACT cachers to take a trip north to the Hawkesbury on a scavenger raid. As time passed the group's numbers dwindled, but with a bit of work solving puzzles and a few things rescheduled, our merry band comprising andrewbt, Sol de lune and I set off on a damp Canberra morning to try our hand. A recent visit to Canberra by cachers from this area provided an added incentive, so we could repay the karma points we gained from their visit. A successful day it turned out to be with 56 finds and only three DNFs. I headed down a fire trail and seemed to be going the wrong way and was beginning to question the solution we had. Things turned around eventually and once we arrived at GZ, headed to the obvious spot and located the nicely proportioned cache. TFTC teamMerlin

Another one solved by AndrewBT in the weeks leading up to our trip up this way. He's a bit a hero when it comes to this sort of puzzle. Gotta be happy with that.
Took the walk to GZ, climbing over a fallen log or two as we went. Once at GZ, the great size container was soon found. Log was signed and we were on our way back to the car.
Thanks for another one TeamMerlin. Recommended

High time this cache had a visitor We had to do a bit of research to find out what this was about. Then it all fell into place and coords appeared.
The cache find will be very handy for the SoN game.
Thanks for the neat puzzle and beaut cache. It's still in great condition.

A big day around Sackville collecting 6xGC and 18xGCA caches.
With such a catchy name, this cache caught my attention. I was able to make short work of the puzzle and the checker agreed.
Nice little spot that I managed to reach without getting my feet wet.

Another enjoyable puzzle. Didn't take me too long to work out what to do. I loved the location. The walk was a pleasure to take and GZ made me stop and go wow..... such a pretty babbling brook. Loved it.

Solved this one a while ago came out here this morning and made a long walk along the dirt road until I came to the entry point to the walking track. GPSr soon counted down until I got to a spot to go bush. Soon spotted a likely hide and cache in hand. Signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for the puzzle teamMerlin

With a little assistance to obtain needed coordinates I had the opportunity to go grab the cache today.
With the midday sun getting hotter increasing the mercury scale it was a short walk to GZ.
The shade of the trees a welcome relief we continued on to GZ.
But also with the heat brought the largest demon in our tracks in the form of the largest Red Bellied Black snake seen this season.
Luckily for us it decided to move on and we made an extremely quick find of the cache signing and returning as found and back to the car before he revisited.

Made sense of the clues well enough but in manually transfering the numbers to the GPS, I entered a minute too many. No matter which end of the trail I went to, I was always 1.8km away. A 1.8km walk in the 44º heat wasn't on. On fixing my error, 1.8km suddenly became 78m - far more acceptable and the track was quite shady. This monster is a bit hard to cover up but hopefully it's a muggle-free and deamon-free area. Thanks teamMerlin.

I loved this area although I didn't see any angels or deamons this morning. Having just washed the car, I opted to park at the beginning of the dirt and walked down to the cache and back. What a gorgeous morning with so many birds singing and the air so fresh, only 20 degrees but forecast to reach 42 today!

At 7.10pm this evening I signed a pristine log for a *FTF*. This followed an afternoon following my best lead into a solution, I had what the list was but the numbers did not line up. I messaged the CO but before a reply came back I had found another way to tackle the data I had. Coord check confirmed I was right.
Now comes the dilemma of what to claim for the summer scavenge hunt as it fills a couple of spots but only one can be claimed
