It’s definitely outdoornut22 that does the brain work for these but I don’t know that he would find them without me doing the leg work!! Woop a lovely stroll along the river. And an easy enough scramble off the track to find this one!! Will have to come back and do the whole walk along here when there aren’t thunderstorms threatening!!

Out to find a few caches we had on our list for a while. In between storms and showers we ducked out to have a look for this one. The GPS was being a pain today and got us to the area but was no cache to be seen. Pretty overgrown in here and we had to wade through the undergrowth to get to the fence line but eventually we got through and soon had the large cache in hand. Cheers

Solved this 1 a couple of months ago & today was the day to find this cache – as I arrived at ground zero area I sighed & said to myself Rolling EyesAnxiousThink – “you love your rocky areas” by the way I love them too. With the hint cache was found nicely - many thanks for the puzzles as many of yours I’m unable to solve them, may need to ask other people about them – this 1 I was able to solve TFTC / TFTH / SL

Solved this one but always going passed but never having time to stop. This time had a chance drove to the parking area. The driveway was far worse than the last time I came in this way. It was a nice stroll along the river watching the GPSr counting down till it got under 10 m then a short scramble over the rocks till I was standing on top of it and a quick grab of the cache. Signed the log and replaced as found, Both the cache & log are in good condition. Thanks for the cache teamMerlin

Worked on a number of the puzzles and while out in the Hawkesbury this was one of the ones I found. A nice walk along the river and then a short scramble before the find. Signed and replaced as found. Diolch teamMerlin

#GA2316 - 17:40; When the States of the Nation game began, a plan was hatched for a group of ACT cachers to take a trip north to the Hawkesbury on a scavenger raid. As time passed the group's numbers dwindled, but with a bit of work solving puzzles and a few things rescheduled, our merry band comprising andrewbt, Sol de lune and I set off on a damp Canberra morning to try our hand. A recent visit to Canberra by cachers from this area provided an added incentive, so we could repay the karma points we gained from their visit. A successful day it turned out to be with 56 finds and only three DNFs. Made harder work of the find than we needed to, but still came up with the goods and got our names onto the log. Heading down this way to grab a unique type of cache and we stopped off to grab this one along the way. Took the hard way in but managed to find the cache ok and soon had our names in the log.

Once signed, the cache was replaced in its hidey hole and we were on way again.

Thanks for another one TeamMerlin....

A big day around Sackville collecting 6xGC and 18xGCA caches.
I balanced this puzzle easily and came by to collect my reward. I originally peered in from the wrong side but soon discovered it from another angle.

I really enjoyed this simple puzzle and I'd walked here before. Before setting out I decided to stop in at the church. Love this little location and for the first time I was actually here when the little cafe was open. So I had a Devonshire tea with yummy scones and cream.
Once I'd satisfied my tummy, I ambled off to find a nicely hidden cache. Great Location.

I had solved this one ages ago, but got round to finding it today. Last time I was able to drive closer but that dirt road has got very deep ruts in it now.
Nice walk in, tried one approach but was chest deep in prickly stuff so back to the path for something slightly easier. I am blaming you for the fact that I am likely to be pulling farmers friends off me for a few hours yet! Wink

Of the two roads that would have got us here, I chose the third. After conferring with a resident at the end of the wrong street, we took the best route and found the cache after just a shortish walk. More like T2 imho, but we both made it to the big box. Thanks teamMerlin.

Thanks this was a place I've never been and like it.
A bit prickly!

Out today to pick up a few caches for the Scavenger series.
Enjoyed the walk down the hill and along the river.

After being in the area for 'Area of Angel and Deamons' I stayed in the area and went for this one as well. I signed a pristine log at 7.35pm for a *FTF* after a nice walk along a bush track
