Description

I have placed the hide for the games.

Well after finding all these hides around trees though I would name one for the trees.

After a morning of walking around jerra I found this Its the only pine tree on this side of the hill.

So I had all the bits I needed to place a hide here.

I have also attached a picture of the tree

Beautiful shady spot to rest and find a cache on this hill. I used to think these were pine trees too until I did some professional training and now know it to be an Aboriginal camp tree. very useful if you know how to use it properly ; )

I came up here to log this and get some exercise. The bushland is looking dry. TFTC Tanso.

Mrs y'stassie had made her way up the hill to find Paris Beat and noticing this cache was not too far away decided to continue on to look for this. Yes, she had promised Mr y'stassie she would only look for one cache then return to the car but three caches near by would be a temptation for any ardent geocacher. So off she went and soon spotted an object familiar to most geocachers.

On closer inspection she found she had located this cache. Container and contents were in good condition. The pine tree guarding the hide certainly stands out in this section of forest with its bright green spring needle a contrast to the green grey of the gums and many of the small shrubs. Only the native cherry has foliage of this colour.

After rehiding the cache container it was time for her to call Mr y'tassie and confess that she had found three caches and was about to head off to a fourth - she's a great believer in the ask for forgiveness after the event principle and she had found an extra two caches with the possibility of a third.

Thanks for this cache Tanso. It was an enjoyable walk to it and it will provide us with a second dragonzone cache for the eight day of the month.

A fairly steep climb up to the cache but a nice easy find when I got there. Thanks

After running out of time yesterday LuckyL10n and I returned today and headed up the hill to try this one. Once at GZ it didn't take long to have the cache in hand and the blank log signed. Another FTF, happy with that.

Thanks Tanso.....good workout....

#GA1757 - 10:00; I headed out with Sol de lune yesterday for a tour of Queanbeyan, but we ran out of time before we could pick this one up as well. Hatched a plan to come back this morning for a 'run' up the hill to collect this cache. Made our way up to GZ and spotted a likely hiding place on the approach. Once we rwached GZ, we soon had the cache in hand. To our surprise it also had a blank log, so we'll have a joint *FTF* for our efforts. TFTC Tanso Very HappyClan Cerberus
