Description

J & J's fifty-third geocache hide. Milly the surfing cow visits Echunga

Milly on the Moove loves surfing, but she often gets confused when trying to actually get to the beach.

Milly has managed to get herself lost somewhere in Echunga. It's easy to understand if you're a hip young surfie cow.

The last we heard from Milly is when we received a crappy looking selfie she sent to us, which we've included in this listing.

Can you help to track down Milly's whereabouts?

We did receive an obscure text message from Milly, starting with the usual "COWABUNGA!", but it also mentioned that an approach from the east will bump up the terrain rating a bit, especially after rain. Go figure!

An early morning drive to meadows was all the reason I needed to make a small detour at Echunga and spend a little time hunting for cows
Fortunately for me there was not a lot of moooving going on this morning so Milly was a nice easy find Mr. Green She seemed quite happy and contented , not bothered by the temperatures in the area this morning at all!
Signed the log and continued happily on my way Very Happy

Found It!
A nice little puzzle that reminded me of the chocolate frog. Then off to GZ for a quick find. But then another car came along and with no-where to pull off the track I had to get out of the way. So I grabbed the cache, drove out to the end of the track, signed it, then drove back in to return it!

We were fortunate that the second approach we tried gave us the coordinates for GZ. Late today we went to look for the cache. Accurate coordinates led to a quick find of a secure and appropriately decorated cache container. The cache and contents were in good condition. There being no entries in the logbook, we will claim FTF at 17:45. Thanks J_&_J for the puzzle and the cache.

The cache is a 100mm stormwater contraption painted in top secret cammo colours.
It unfortunately contains no swaps at this time, but will be stocked with cow related paraphernalia when time/spare-money permits.
