Description
The Fenceline on the Western Freeway Path
A location that is not too pleasing to the eye, but if you're out for a walk, this this series of geocaches will help you to get out there and into nature. The 400ml sistema container at this location is, strictly speaking, on private property but you know what? I doubt that the owners will know or ever care. After all this is not the alternative geocaching site, this is the official geocaching site for the antipodes. So come one down, have a walk, pick up a variety of geocaches, styles and sizes and boost your geocaching numbers (and my karma).

Logs
Back on the trail again today, searching for caches on the Western Freeway Path and Western Ring Path.
Our last day of caching the trails, with a target of 35 caches. We managed a total of 21 finds and 14 DNF'S.
Log book was sodden but we managed to leave our name in it.
Many thanks caughtatwork for all the caches you have placed, we appreciate the time and effort gone into placing them.

The hint sort of narrowed the search area however there are a few instances there now.
Retrieving the cache was easy enough but it felt extraordinarily heavy for its size.
Fenceline or Waterline? More like a rain gauge here today. I emptied about 300 ml out and attempted to dry out the log book, unsuccessfully.
Made my mark on the back cover and replaced it upside down. At least it won't hold so much water that way.
I thought about replacing the log book but it seemed to me that would be a futile exercise.
Collected yet another 1,041 *unloved* days at this one too.
Thanks for the cache and the series caughtatwork.
That's it for now, Christmas is upon us.
Take care and enjoy the season.
Regards, Rod & Christine.

I decided to continue exploring the western bike trails... this time the Western Freeway was my target, so I caught the train to Sunshine to ride the last section of the Kororoit Creek before continuing westward.
A fine evening, and a mostly successful hunt (apart from a couple of fruitless scrambles in the bushes), and edging closer to the 10% target I want to maintain.
Thanks, C@W.

#GA1872 - 11:04; Day two of a caching mission to Victoria with Sol de lune. Our major goal for the week is to complete the SSS and other series along the Western Freeway/Ring Road and to then collect enough GCA caches around Docklands to bring our total finds for the day to 100+ which would build our trophy cabinets a bit more as we complete a few more 'missions'. This was one of 82 finds in just under 6 hours along the various series, where we only had the one DNF! We were now headed east on stage two of the run. Apologies for the mostly generic logs. Back at the next section of series and again it was just a matter of following the GPSr, dropping the bike and grabbing the cache. In most cases it was that simple and we just plodded along cache after cache. I think we were starting to slow as the wind picked up...nothing kills a ride like riding into the wind.
All was good though and unless stated, all caches were found in good condition.
Thanks for this one C@W.....

Encountered our first cyclist on the way to this cache but he was well down the track when we began our search. GPs took a while to settle and we looked unsuccessfully in several places. The garmin then began to cooperate and we spotted a well hidden little box. All was well with cache and contents.
Thanks for another cache in this series caught@work.

Next stop a little further up the path.
Jumped off the bike and looked around.
Had the aha moment.
Then signed the log.
