As I am only managing to solve 2 or 3 a day of these, then going out late afternoon to find them, 1 am finding that I am walking the same trail from where I parked the previous day. I wonder how many unfound mysteries I walked past today LOL

A cache I found today was only a couple of hundred metres away from one I found yesterday, I am certainly getting to know this part of the park well, and getting about 3 or 4 kms a day walking.

Being the weekend, there were more people around today, and I had the train go past me a few times.

Mrs jinta and I had some spare time today so we set off to Whiteman Park find some GCA caches! We had a lot of solved puzzle caches to find and this was one of them. Cheers for placing this one. jinta29

Finally conquered this chappie today after my previous DNF. GPS was still sending me in circles, but managed to spot it with a corner peeking out, phew! Glad to tick this one off!!

I was on my 4 days off and decided to head out to Whiteman park to clean up a few caches today. I spent a few weeks solving the C series and some of the P and W series. It was fun solving several of the puzzles in particular the jigsaws. I love solving jigsaw puzzles. As yet i have not solved all of them as i need some help with some of them. I printed off the Whiteman Park map and plotted all the coordinates into my phone on cgeo and then roughly plotted them on the map. This then gave me the opportunity to work out where to park and what caches to get from each parking spot.

I parked at a few different locations and did large loop walks collecting caches one of which was quite large due to the Keith Maine Centre being closed. I spent about 6 and a half hours walking and logging caches in the heat which was quite draining today. Luckily i had plenty of water and fruit to keep me going. The easterly breeze offered some respite from the heat but more so in the shade. All up i walked 10+km's which i did enjoy and only saw 6 kangaroos and one bobtail lizard.
All up i found 30 of the 31 solved caches in the series.
This cache was a very quick find and just as quick signing the log. I sat here in the shade for a few minutes to cool down.
Thanks for the 3 great series Chwiliwr, Gwiber, TBH and Gwar. ClappingClapping

Headed out after the event with Lazarus to pick up a few of the mystery caches we had solved. We managed to get a few crossed off the list but left others for another day. There was one where we had the incorrect coordinates, so will have to go back to the drawing board on that one, and we still have some awaiting that moment where it all clicks together. All the finds were made fairly quickly. Many thanks for the caches.

Solved this one some time ago, but waited until after today's event to find & sign log.
Walked the trails hearing frequent buzzing coming from nearby Model Aircraft Club.
Thank you Chwiliwr, TBH, Gwiber & Gwawr for this stimulating series of mental challenge variety.
This is #14 of 27 in series found today. We must return to locate others we've solved.
Found approx 7m North of solved coordinates.

I had a spare hour today, so thought I would head out and grab a small handful of these mystery caches that we had solved. Many more to go!

I started my loop at this cache and spent about 5 minutes here being eaten by mozzies and spiders and didn't have much luck. No worries, thought I'd come back around after I'd grabbed a few others. Double checked co-ords on my round and all well there. Came back from a different approach and co-ords led me to the same, spent approx another 10 minutes here being eaten alive, but sadly left empty handed. Ah well, 5/6 caches wasn't bad for the hour that I had!

Thanks for the puzzle. Hope to find the cache one day! Smile

Took the family to Whiteman Park and did a few walks around the trails to do the puzzle caches. Managed to stay dry by sheltering when it looked like showers but got wet walking back to the car from the final cache. All caches were found OK and apart from one in good condition.

Log signed and cache returned as found.

Thank you for the puzzle and cache.

Out with the family doing the Whiteman Park puzzles and dodging the rain. Only got wet going back to the car after the last cache. Enjoyed the smell of the steam engine who passed us a few times on our various walks to the caches from where we had parked the car.

Log signed and cache returned as found.

Thank you for the puzzle and cache.

I had some preconceived ideas about where this was hidden, but it seems I was so far off the mark and in the end I would have been better just to trust in the coords, which were quite reasonable in the end. Well hidden. TFTC Gwawr

Woohoo!! FTF at 6:03pm!

I solved this and a few other nearby ones a few days ago, but didn't have time to come and find them until this afternoon. I enjoyed the walk in the park and was very happy to make a quick and easy find at GZ.

Thanks for the cache Gwawr!
